What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Now that we've had a situation where 2 ppl talked to each other but none was really willing to listen.

Looking through boxscores, Hartenstein has stuffed the stat sheet whenever he played more than 2 min over the last month. If he continues to do that and earn more consistent playing time it could sway a GM to pick him higher than where he's projected now.

Frank Mason was asked how he would want to die by an NBA team at the combine during an interview lol.

I want to die with the sword of my enemy buried deep in my chest. As my warm blood wets my shirt and runs down his sword to the hilt, I will look my enemy in the eye and nod my head acknowledging his courage and skill. As I slump to the ground I will smile as I look upon the heaps of dead and dying warriors who moments ago tasted death at the end of my blade. I will close my eyes knowing I died well because I lived well.

Will be interesting to see where DX mocks Frank Jackson now that he has declared. They have kept him in the 2018 draft for the past month.

this is the correct answer. I'd pick you in the top 10 without knowing anything other than this.

If he was there at #30 I think we'd take him. Could see the nets and magic going after him before then though.

So can Luke Kennard play some PG in our system? I think people see him as JJ Reddick 2.0 but I don't think he's as good of a shooter and I think he's a much better ball handler, passer, and finisher around the basket. I dismissed him because he's undersized for the 2 and not very athletic, but he could be a tough cover in the PnR and on a team that moves the ball could really stretch the defense and make the right pass as the defense is shifting.

are there any other notable mid to late first rounders who haven't signed with agents?

Is it bad form to answer your own question? Irregardless, I found DX has this really neat feature:

https://www.draftexpress.com/nba-draft-early-entry-list

It shows as undecided:

Frank Ntilikina,
Rodions Kurucs,
Semi Ojeleye,
Caleb Swanigan,
DJ Wilson,
Tony Bradley,
Hamidou Diallo

Pertinent to our conversation about Frank jackson, DX has him ranked 48th out of prospects declaring for the draft in their list which includes many who may withdraw later.

I don't really think so.

So Dallas is making no secret about liking Frank Ntilikina. Second day in a row that stories about Dallas and Ntilinkina have found there way to Hoopshype.

David ‘Dubi’ Pick: Per source, Donnie Nelson, Tony Ronzone scored French credentials to scout PG Frank Ntilikina. Mavs have No. 9 overall draft pick.

Personally, I think it is a ruse hoping to get Sacramento or the Knicks to bite, and let Dallas's real target fall.

About Frank Jackson:

DX rank 48 of draft elligble/early entry players.

Frank Jackson is likely a second-rounder, but sources told ESPN the return of Grayson Allen and the likely addition of Trevon Duval were factors in him deciding to leave. – via Twitter GoodmanESPN

And there is some confusion about who his agent will be...

Frank Jackson plans to sign with agent Kevin Bradbury of BDA Sports Management, sources said. – via Yahoo! Sports
