-Most agree Hayward needs to be the 2 guard next year. Most agree Bell needs to be traded for anything and some want Miles gone and same with Ak. So that leaves 3 wing spots to fill. I say get 1 wing through the draft and 2 through FA

Best FA wing players:
Jason Richardson(U), Jamal Crawford (U), Aaron Affalo(R), Wilson Chandler(R), JR Smith(U), Mike Dunleavy(U), CDR(U), Nick Young(R), Roger Mason(U),Marcus Thorton(R), Anthony Parker(U),Belinelli(R), Michael Redd(U), Caron Butler(U), Thaddeus Young(R), Grant Hill(U), Tayshaun Prince(U), Reggie Williams(R), Rasual Butler(U), Peja(U), Azibuke(U), Shawne Williams(U), Sonny Weems (U)

What 2 guys would you take?
Scenario 1:
-Get a legit 2 guard who can shoot in Jamal Crawford,J-Rich, Affalo or Thorton but have them play more of a 3 in the offense and sit on the 3 point line and space the floor and run some curls and other plays for them to get them shots. Hayward is best at handling the ball and creating rather than being on the 3 point line even though he grew as a great 3 point shooter late in the season.
-Get D-will 2 through the draft and have him be the back up 3. If you don't get lucky in the lottery, get a 3 like Jones, Vessely, Hamilton, Leonard
-Get a cheap 2 like Reggie Williams, Belinelli, Mason, Parker, Dunleavy that can shoot the 3 and be a solid back up SG

Scenario 2
-Get a 2 in the draft like Klay Thompson, Burks, Honeycutt and have them come off the bench as a 2
-Get a quality starting 3 like Caron Butler, Wilson Chandler, Thaddeus Young
-Get a cheap 3 like Rasual Butler, Hill, Azibuke that can shoot and play D and provide a spark of the bench.

My favorite wing rotation
2- Aaron Affalo, Reggie Williams or Shawne Williams
3- Hayward, D-Will2, Jeremy Evans

I don't believe any wing we draft will be ready for a rotation role next year. My hope is for a trade to acquire an bona fide NBA wing, star or borderline. Then you go the cheap FA route with whatever's left to fill out the spots while a drafted wing learns the ropes.

That said, there are a few guys we could draft that might be ready like the Mirotic kid who is already performing in Europe. His ceiling might not be that high, but I'm guessing he could step in. The rest of the litter like Burks or Leonard or Hamilton are not likely to be anything more than spot players. Maybe Vesely could force his way onto the court.

Short of a trade, the only sure wing is Hayward. They should look to deal Bell for anything, but sadly I think KOC values his 'leadership.' I doubt very much BOTH AK and CJ are back. The guess is CJ unless CJ can be lumped into a pre-draft deal. Then they go hard after AK for the discount he's supposedly offering, Bell comes off the bench at the 2, and they scour the FA market for a serviceable 3.

- I also think some how Bell, CJ or AK will be retained. Looking back at it, I would probably add a veteran somewhere unless the coaches wanted to start from scratch and have a lot of young guys out there. I wouldn't be mad if Bell was kept to be a back up if we got Affalo and other solid wing guys. A veteran wing I'd be happy with is Battier

My guess is the Jazz retain 2 of 3 of CJ/Bell/AK. CJ is the guy they'll be floating in a hope to move up. Bell is a guy they're most likely stuck with, but I suspect contenders looking for a backup 2 might show interest. AK gets sorted out once they know what happens to CJ/Bell.

But I don't think anybody we draft at the wing will get a rotation spot. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a guy like Barnes get hired on a one year deal so a drafted Burks/Leonard/Hamilton can ease in. I fully expect a retread type to get a job with us next year on a one year deal.

I will be extremely disappointed if we bring AK back... What he is going to do is to take minutes away from the young wings we have. We should just start over with a young core then be patient with it. Trade Bell to a veteran team like the Magic for Earl Clark + 2nd round pick or some deal to that extent

While I agree this is probably what the Jazz will do. They should be looking to get young and build this team like OKC did. They will struggle for a little while but so be it. They are not contender's so don't even attempt to be pretender's. Get young, play young and develop their talent.

That is a great trade idea. Wish I had thought of it. However why would Orlando want bell?

where is jimmer in your scenario???

The problem with the Jazz's guardline is that Bell and Price couldn't score. With Hayward earning more minutes and Miles being able to play some SG, all the Jazz need is one player to replace Bell/Price in the rotation. That's why I think Brandon Knight or another combo guard has to be on our draft radar.

Kelenna Azubuike (or however it's spelled) FTW. He was considered a pretty good wing player, but injuries have knocked him back into obscurity. I'm interested to see if he still has "it".

Utah should let CJ walk, annoint Hayward the starter @ the 2 spot and push HARD to sign Jamal Crawford in the offseason. Crawford would be the 2nd unit scorer that the Jazz covet and you could even slide Hayward to the 3 while keeping Crawford @ the 2 during the end of games if needed.

Atlanta has Orlando on the ropes right now and Crawford is a major reason why. He'd be a huge upgrade to this Jazz roster.

I just don't see Atlanta letting Crawford walk. But I do think they regret trading Jordan Crawford. Man that boy tore it up the 2nd half of the season. And Chandler has been aweful during the Denver Series. So, whats your guys feelings about JR Smith? And I still think Utah should try and work out a trade with the Bucks for Carlos Delfino or Irasolva

JR Smith is an expensive head case that is basically CJ Miles.
