Awesome game. JJ, hood, ingles all coming up big at the end. Favors with a great game (I think he is the key to the teams ceiling). X with a big three. That finger roll by rudy was amazing and the crowd went nuts due to it.

That was my fav game I attended this season. Rudy returns.
 
Injured Jazz are closer to GSW than healthy Celtics are to the Cavs. That's all I'm going to say(well, not really...). I've been saying the Jazz have the better high end talent on the roster for ages and I'm not budging on this one. The Celtics have the much better future assets. To me the only way it makes sense for Hayward to leave Utah for Boston is if Boston trades for another superstar before free agency(Butler, George). I don't think Hayward will go to Boston because of Fultz or some 17 year old who's still in high school.

The more and more I think about it, its just such a huge gamble for Hayward to go to the Celtics. Even if they acquire a Butler or PG there is no guarantee that a) They will be able to play together b) Hayward will be satisfied with his role in the team and c) That they will be able to challenge the Cavs... From everything Hayward has said he wants a championship not ECF.
 
Anyone have insight into the Gobert/Hayward relationship? Because if it's good that really should solidify his return.

Celtics are the only playoff team with cap space and who else would Hayward prefer to play with on the Celtics over Gobert?

I believe they play on the same basketball team for 4 years.
 
Hayward has talked about how he appreciates having a defender like Gobert behind him. Hayward does a pretty good job of setting him up in pick-and-rolls. They play well together.

Whether they hang out together I don't know.
 
Ainge was trying to trade IT for a lottery pick last year. Smart was even being offered in deals to get another pick.

Jackie MacMullan says the only untouchable on the team is Al Horford.

Yup, lol. This was bad for Utah. That team that just beat the Cavs on the road could be that team with Hayward and Butler.

Cavs (LeBron especially) took their foot off the gas pedal. 11 points for LeBron in 45 minutes, goodness.
