No more potatoes, tomatos, peppers, corn, etc for me. I'm way too white. Guess I will just have to return to the rotten meat and stale bread of my forefathers.
 
I cook all sorts of food. My parents did too.

Sometimes when I bring Asian food to work someone will ask me if my wife is Asian.

There is no link between ethnicity and ability to cook any type of food.

I wonder if sushi places in Portland are next. Around here almost all of them are owned by people from Korea.

I dont eat mexican food cooked by the whites, but that is a personal decision based on where I have lived. I wouldn't hate on anyone cooking/eating Mexican food and make them go out of business.

If there isnt a language barrier that prevents them from getting my order 100% correct it probably isnt going to be dank enough for my taste buds.

To be fair to the author who started this, her point included she has no problem with other cultures cooking other cultures food. Her main point was people profiting off another's culture over a person of that culture.

Not sure that makes it any better. If i can make better chinese food than the Chinese guy down the street, he should find something else to do.

Didnt say it so it could be "better" just so the actual criticism to the criticism would be accurate.
 
While I'm keen on the issues of some forms of cultural appropriation, the extreme viewpoint seems to tend toward the need for segregation in order to avoid it.

Some people want to be angry.
