It sure would be nice to see the President mention the word "Portland" in any of his tweets. He had enough time to trash "the media" again today but not enough time to comment on Portland? I guess terrorism isn't terrorism when it's a white supremacist who commits the act, right?

Thoughts and prayers for these 2 heroes and their families!

US police have identified the two men killed by a white supremacist on a train in Portland as they attempted to defend passengers the suspect was bullying.

On Friday, Jeremy Joseph Christian - a 35-year-old who was known to authorities - stabbed to death 53-year-old Ricky John Best and Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche, 23, after they stepped in to defend two girls Christian was bullying.

At least one of the girls was wearing a headscarf and is believed to be Muslim.

Christian is reported to have shouted Islamophobic slurs at the girls, as well as other hate speech.

Police said on Saturday that Best died at the scene and that Meche succumbed to his wounds at a hospital after Christian slit their throats.

A third victim, 21-year-old Micah David-Cole Fletcher, was also stabbed in the attack and is in serious condition at a hospital in Portland, Oregon. Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

That's interesting. Donald insinuated that the Ohio St attack was. I just wished today that he could've said a few inspiring words to help bring our nation together this morning rather than go on a twitter rampage against the media. Why can't our president even recognize something happened in Portland? They've given so much attention to non-existent attacks like bowling green and Sweden. Why not Portland (where two people actually died)?
 
He screams hate at people he takes to be Muslim and murders those who try to intervene. But that’s not nearly enough. Apparently he voted for Bernie, wanted Clinton to be killed, may or may not have supported Trump, posted racist rants, and gave the Sieg Heil salute on occasion. Now the hyper-partisans have more to chew on and can spit out their political points and pigeonhole his insanity in a way that makes them feel better about themselves.

Honey, if that's what you think then you're out in left field.

Domestic terrorism is a serious issue. Much more serious imo than what many think. In just the past few years the FBI has seen a surge in attacks on Jewish and Muslim locations. This needs to be given as much attention if not more than Bowling Green or Ohio St. It's not being partisan but being consistent.

Nah, it's about being partisan. You probably don't give two ****s about Obama's campaign of terror across the Muslim world during his presidency. Regardless, a terror attack should be a planned attack designed to advance a group's agenda by inciting terror among their target's population. That's obviously not what happened here.

The perpetrator seems to be one very sick puppy. To be distinguished from planned and actual terrorists attacks, hate crimes against Jews and Muslims do seem to be on the increase. Recall the spate of threatening calls to Jewish centers around the United States a few months ago.

you wanna know why i want a LIST!

because they come in the media and get to later be a HOAX! but the media never walks it back!

a few examples, the poop swastika at mizou! the swastika is a sacred symbol to neo nazis! so why would thye make one in poop, is like christians making an artwork of maria and jesus in ppoop. or Muslims making Mohamed in poop! the moment it got reported I KNEW IT WAS FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or muslim woman who supposedly got attack and had her hijab pulled of in the subway by dudes who wore make america great again hats. also proven to be false!

their was this incident of hate crime against a sybnagoge, but once secuirity tapes had been pulled it was a liberal jew who worked at the synagoge!


it seems all these high profile cases turn out to be fake! that's why i request a list!

you know the whole crying wolf thing! everybody knows that story and the moral of that story! 1 of first stories you hear as a kid
 
Trump ended up tweeting about the Portland incident, but honestly Thriller, does that make you feel better about it? If a POTUS doesn't publicly put his input in about every tragedy that happens, does that mean we should translate that to he is apathetic/ignorant about it or use confirmational bias to support our own agenda? I think there are better things to bitch about. But if you want to be that guy, then by all means.
