For the Jazz to make a move like this, they would have to really, really be compelled by a player who's on the board. If the Jazz like Zach Collins, Donovan Mitchell or someone else who is lottery caliber, that's one thing. But the guy the Jazz get at 24 might be as good or better than someone available at 15. The draft levels off around 12 or 13 depending on how teams feel about guys like Giles or Patton.
No chance. Hood is not that good.
Can't say. But Hood isn't much better (if at all) than Ingles, and everyone's expecting Ingles to sign for $10 million or less.
Hood is actually pretty good when he's healthy. He averaged 14.5 PPG when he played and started 79 out of 82 games.

He is going to be restricted, and there's no point in going after a RFA unless you offer an amount his team might not pay.
And Utah is definitely going to have a target on their backs on regards to team trying to steal our players, because they know we aren't going to be able to pay everyone.
Actually being restricted is why these teams throw big contracts at guys. They are trying to **** up other teams books.

Ingles is older tho and there isn't upside to giving him a big deal like there will be with Hood I'd he has a good season. The injuries are a negative, but they also create a shroud of mystery as to what his true ceiling is.

Jeanne's mobility/athleticism/fluidity is impressive for his size/length. If he's able to put on some weight/strength & continue developing his outside shot, he has potential as a stretch 4. Assuming his work ethic/character checks out, he could be a steal at #24.
If Thornwell or Hart don't make it to 42, Sterling Brown is another interesting 3 and D prospect:

His agent thinks he can play the 4 in the NBA.
I dont think he can at all, but that is what his agent said.
Why don't you think he can? He runs the floor well for being 7'2 and has decent handles for his size. He also has shown he has the potential to hit threes.

He wasnt good enough to play the French team is signed with. Had to be loaned out to the worst team in the league to get minutes.
