Cavs v Warriors Game 1

Lebron ruined the NBA... He was the one who made it ok/acceptable for superstars to "join forces". Now he is reaping

what he sowed!

Lebron didn't join a 73 win team with a ****ing 2 time MVP that he lost to dumbass. Go chear for you ***** warriors! Jump on the bandwagon *******

No. But he did make that situation possible.

You think KD would be at the warriors if Lebron hadn't been building superteams the past 6 years??

I hope that this convinces Gordon to stay because regardless of who you play for, the Cavs and Warriors are miles ahead of everyone else, and it just shows just how far behind the rest of the league is.

As it stands right now, the grass is not greener Gordon, the grass is not greener.

He's playing James Harden type defense out there, getting schooled by KD, out rebounded by steph, just missed 2 free throws and having NO impact on this game.

You're so dumb. If you are watching you would see they're running pick-and-rolls with Curry to switch Irving on Durant. He has 15 rebounds and heaven forbid he misses two free-throws. The standard you are holding him to proves how great he is.

Of course I'm holding him to a high standard, the highest standard possible. He's earned that.

I cant believe anyone seriously compares this dude to MJ.
MJ was given everything by Stern and the NBA. You couldnt touch MJ and he could maul you on the other end. LBJ is treated like Shaq compared to Duncan. LBJ takes so much contact compared to a Durant, Curry, etc.

But this Warriors team is just too stacked. Durant's decision was nothing like LBJ. He left an average team to go to an average team. Plus Bosh who never won crap. Durant left a West finals team to join a 73 win team who won a title 2 seasons prior.

Regardless, he still started the trend and players have followed suit.

True. But the Cavs were a dumpster fire and he had to leave. He had to win titles to have a legacy. I don't blame him for going to Miami. What Durant did was a slap in the face to competitiveness. Shame really.

Durant will look okay if the Ws sweep the Cavs. If that happens he goes down as the best player on the best team in NBA history, that is a pretty good legacy. It looks even better if they win a bunch in a row. It was a good choice for him even if it makes people hate him. His legacy will be much greater than if he had stayed and never won a championship or even if he won one.

Also lol at people defending what LeBron did with his career, while bashing Durant, they both are in the same boat and made the right decision for their career. Only difference is Durant did it far less douchey. He can't win without 2 all Stars next to him. He did the same thing Durant did more or less and his legacy is better for it. He went to a team that had won a championship that had a top 5 player on it and brought in another all Star.

Upgrading to KD from Harrison Barnes was yewge.

It would be like the lakers of the early 2000s upgrading to Tim Duncan from Horace Grant or AC Green.

dont see the cavs winning a single game here.

gona be a total steam roll 4-0. Cavs east is a ****ing joke.

Astonishing

I'm surprised there isn't a thread about what happened to LBJ's house in LA (unless I missed it) the only reason I bring it up is because it is GSW fans who try to troll Utah fans that we're the most racist fans in the NBA but just days before the Cavs play GSW he gets racist hate speech/vandalized in LA of all places.

Not to make light of what happened to LBJ, like, love or hate him that is total BS and should have no place in this world (no matter the reason an over zealous fan or an actual racist prick)

<hypocrite warning and only joking even if insensitive warning>
Maybe it was Matt Barnes #livingthatLAnightlife

Wrong.
CBA made that situation possible.

Or just good luck. Steph not being at Max due to injury concerns and slightly slow development and green quickly developing from a bench player to an all Star left a lot of cap room. Having 3 or 4 all Stars on a team and still having room to sign a max player is unlikely to happen again for another team. If green and Curry had Max deals they would not have had room for Durant.

Maybe it was a Spurs fan that traveled from North Carolina?
