Which player do you want the Jazz to draft in the first round, assuming they pick at #24?

Who would you draft at #24 for the Jazz assuming these options are on the board?

I'll go out on a limb and say TJ Leaf. If the Jazz are trying to build something to even have a sliver of hope to compete with the Warriors at some point down the line, you can't pass up a player with the offensive IQ and versatility Leaf has. Then you hope and pray that if the Jazz managed to make Joe Ingles into a passable NBA athlete and good defender/shooter they can do the same with Leaf over time.

TJ Leaf? More like TJ *****

Words rhymes with leaf but starts with Q

Well it seems the two players that intrigue me are Jonathon Jeanne and Harry Giles ,but Giles looks to keep climbing the draft boards and Jazz would have to trade up to get him.Jeanne looks to be climbing inside #24 as well. So if Jeanne creeps up then Jazz should focus on Isaiah Hartenstein (C) a stretch shooting (5).

A player like Semi should be able to fit in fairly well on a lot of teams. He should be like a Jae Crowder complementary wing who can sneak a few minutes at the 4. If he's thought of as a wing, then his rebound numbers don't look so bad. The only question mark with him is his steal rate. It just makes him look like he was a passive defensive player.

I don't mind Hartenstein if he's there at 30. I think I might like Pasecniks a bit more though. Hard to say.

With his length, if Jeanne can play the 4 with Rudy at the 5. . . that's the ideal pick for the Jazz. I'm hoping for Jeanne at 24 and Semi Ojeleye at 30. That would be a great draft for Utah imo.

Love the potential of Harry Giles around the lane and basket. He would fit the Jazz mold of long like Gobert and Exum.
Love Favors and always been a fan of Gobert and Favors controlling the inside but reading if Jazz sign Hayward the likelyhood of Favors remaining is unlikely.I wonder if Charlotte at #11 would take a trade of Favors for the #11 pick.

Jazz could possibly have one of these guys fall to them ...Harry Giles OR EVEN Laurie Markannen....LOL guess to much dreaming

Jeanne will get murdered in pick and roll. He won't be able to punish smaller players on offense unless he can bang in the post or offensive rebound at a high rate. The Jeanne at the four is wishful thinking.

Watched the Michigan/UCLA game on youtube for Wilson vs. Leaf. Kind of an interesting exercise. They played each other directly quite a bit.

Leaf had by far the better offensive game than Wilson and took it right to him several times. Wilson was so passive offensively (though maybe a function of his team's offense). I liked Wilson's three point shot and his general skill level, but offensively he just seemed to be floating. If you draft him, you're banking on the idea that he's really turned the corner with his offensive involvement the last several games of the season. Leaf is clearly talented offensively and knows how to put his skill to use. I came away with some concerns about how it will translate to the NBA level and his lack of physicality, but still generally optimistic on him as an offensive talent.

Defensively, Wilson looks much more immediately translatable. Though he's not very physical and though Leaf took him to school several times, Wilson at least looked prepared and versatile defensively (switching on to Ball several times, and looking at least capable of moving with him). Leaf needs a lot of work defensively from what I can tell from that one game.
