Jazz taking Jimmer #6 "most logical pick in NBA Draft History"

I'm so sick of Jimmer. So, so, so sick of Jimmer. There is nothing to talk about with this kid until the workouts start. If I'm the Jazz, and I'm really actually thinking about drafting Jimmer, I'm asking him to work out against the 4 quickest PG prospects I can find in however many workouts that takes. If he doesn't want to do it, wish him luck. If he does, great. But until I see him play one on one defense against guys with NBA quickness, there is no drafting Jimmer.

And if he does reasonably well or out scores them, are you onboard at pick 12?

I approve of this suggestion. Make it happen!

So you're the egghead that would have passed on players like Nash?

ESPN now has us passing on Jimmer at #12. Isn't Chad Ford a former Cougar? Hmm...Methinks all the little junior Jimmers are going to get their hearts broken.

Oh, no.......a mock draft has the Jazz passing on Jimmer. Woe is me.....give me a few minutes to compose myself.
I'm getting verklempt, talk amongst yourselves.

Here's a topic - mock draft
Is it a mock, or is it a draft.... discuss.

You can't compare Jimmer and Nash coming out of college. Nash was a dynamite passer who nobody doubted could run an NBA offense. Jimmer is a fantastic shooter who is more a PG by default. I actually think Jimmer can learn to run a point. But defensively, Jimmer is coming out of a system where he played 100 percent zone. Nash played for Canada and worked out with pros. Scouts had a lot to work with in evaluating Nash.

Dude, I didn't know you were a junior Jimmer? My apologies. Anyway, I'm not really against drafting Jimmer. I actually trust KOC to take the best player available at #12, regardless of who it is. I just thought the Chad Ford thing was interesting, considering that up until now he's been sticking to Utah taking Jimmer at #12.

It is actually interesting. So who does he have the Jazz taking? My espn is blocked at work.

Tristan Thompson. Draft express has him ranked 15th, and I tend to find them as credible as anyone, so I don't put too much stock in ESPN's mock. Just the same, I am curious why Ford suddenly has us passing on Jimmer.

Just looked him up and I don't want the Jazz to use a lotto pick, on another PF. I think they need to focus on a PG and a big SF.

Doesnt he have us picking Knight or Walker at 6. Then it would make sense not to draft a PG at 12.

Right, but until just recently, he had us taking Jimmer at #12, regardless of whether or not we took a PG with our 1st pick. Also, in a scenario were we move up/drop down and take a SF or PF/C, he still has us taking a PF at #12, which doesn't make sense either. I'm probably reading more into it than there really is because of his BYU ties.

Lolz @ ncoloradojazz... on the other post he's calling others racist.. but than you make this comment?? Are white athletes not allowed to be athletic?? both of these guys have higher Verts than the avg nba player at their respected positions... Do some homework, and stop posting on this board because your posts are painful to read...

No, white guys are not allowed to be athletic and if they are not athletic, will certainly suck in the NBA and do not belong.

Sincerely,

Mr. Larry J. Bird
