Rondo Trade?

Rondo has a partially guaranteed contract for 2017/2018. He is currently set to be paid 13 million next year if Chicago doesn't waive him. He would instead only get 3 million if waived before July 1st.

I know the answer is probably no, but is there any chance Chicago has any interest in the player Dwayne Wade once called the most underrated player in the NBA?

Utah trades Alec Burks and a 2nd round pick for Rondo and Utah immediately waives Rondo.

I'm never getting off the Burks bandwagon. I'm going down with the ship.

I would do that trade and keep Rondo. He played pretty well last season and the playoffs. The Bulls would have beat Boston had he stayed healthy.

This.

He literally was so good that he was about to lead an 8-over-1 upset in the playoffs. The Jazz could do much, much worse.

Fantastic move. I don't know if Chicago does it but they've had some real head scratchers. Do this in a heartbeat. Plus it gives him (Burks) a chance to play.

You want Ingles back and Teodosoc to sign the Jazz need some of that sweet cap room.

If that small amount of saved cap room is actually the difference in getting good players then I won't complain.

Super weird that Burks has such low BBIQ or whatever that he can't be part of a team offense. I was so sure he'd be an awesome scorer of the bench.

8 million is pretty significant, also the 12 million next season.

As many people have outlined on here before, clearing Burks is a huge part of being able to re-sign Ingles and not be wildly deep in the LT. Very few have actually said how we are going to clear Burks though.

I would not want him on this team. He's terrible in the locker room. There's a reason he's never stuck with any one team for any substantial length of time despite being a solid player.

Do I need to put the part where I say to waive Rondo in bold size 7 lettering? Do people just read the first sentence and hit reply?
