Timing is just ... too close.

Is he trying to make his case publicly that he needs to win a championship?

I go back and forth daily

Yesterday based on Robyns instagram I felt he was staying.

Now based on this video I feel he is greasing the sjids to go...
 
I don't see this as plus or minus either way... but it's cool.

The fact we haven't done anything is kind of scary to me. I think if we do nothing pre-July 1 its a bad sign.

1. a bit paranoid at the moment. Guilty
2. Him saying he wants to win and will feel he has a better choice in the East (at least to get to finals, then anything can happen). Plus Butler is now in the West as well.... East feels easier to get to title game

I need Saturday to come and go

Agreed. Hayward is a competitor. Jazz have been lucky to have him. I hope he stays and they can get a Championship in Utah. I don't see anything in this video that makes me think he's leaving.

Best part was that it linked me to Chauncey Billups article about his career in the NBA and his role in the 2004 Pistons championship. Well worth the read for any Jazz fan who sees similarities in how Utah has been building their current team.

A video like this was shot months ago and has gone through a painstaking editing process. There is absolutely nothing to assume from the timing of this, or this video at all.

If anything it makes me think he wants to stay with one team... says he watched Reggie miller growing up. Stuck it out in one market his whole career franchise hero in a small market.
 
Some of you guys are acting like you are hoping Hayward asks you to the prom. There is nothing in that video that shows he wants to leave Utah.
 
The timing of it is because for the first time Hayward is one of the biggest stories in the NBA. Great time to release a video.

Well, the gym is the Mesa Olympians' gym, a high school in San Diego. So it was probably in the last month or so.

So you are reporting he is signing with the Clippers? Great.
 
I think you're reaching on this. The video was about his final shot in the NCAA championship game while he was playing for Butler. No references to the Jazz or the NBA at all. Furthermore, Gatorade decides when these videos come out not Hayward. So I doubt it had some deeper meaning.
