Lol is right. O'Keefe is a well known provocateur and hoaxer. As for Van Jones, he has already gone on record several times expressing his belief that the progressive focus on Russia ignores the fact that it is extremely unlikely to lead to Trump's downfall and progressives should be focused more on the issues and problems facing the nation. If anybody thinks he was actually saying that Russiagate was somehow fake news, well, that would be foolishly naive.

Here is Van Jones in his own words, describing O'Keefe's "much ado about nothingburger". Even the WH press secretary, in urging people to look at O'Keefe's tape, cautioned she did not know anything about the veracity of that tape. Well, indeed, it's O'Keefe. This is what he does. LOL...

Mr. Trump is a fan of Alex Jones, he of the "Sandy Hook was a hoax" story. Here is the latest fake story being promoted by Jones. Remarkably, there will be people who actually buy into this. There are, after all, still thousands of Americans who buy into the Pizzagate fake news. Their demonstrations demanding an investigation into Pizzagate are small, but they still hold them. Truly amazing what people believe, and the number of conspiracy theories Mr. Trump has bought into makes him a very big fan of fake news indeed.

I see Alex Jones as the rightist version of the main steam leftist media. He comes up with crazy **** where they invent dumb **** to tug on your heartstrings. The only difference is that Jones has a small group of crazy *** followers whereas the MSM has a large group of crybaby TMZ types loving the poor pity me pat on the back.

Mainstream leftist media is an oxymoron. By large measure the mainstream media is corporate, traditional, centrist, and in some cases, neoliberal. Examples of mainstream media would be The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC. Examples of leftist media would be The Nation, Mother Jones and Dissent, none of which are in any way, by any definition, mainstream.

As long as CNN gives people like Corey Lewandowski Jeffrey Lord and Kayleigh McEnany a paycheck it's hard to buy that they are a liberal news outlet.

That said their cable shows are among the worst out there, rivaling Fox News in their awfulness. It's entertainment dressed up as political commentary and Jeff Zucker pretty much admits as much.
