RUMOR: Joe Ingles to be offered 4 years at $60M by Orlando

There is a better chance of me playing with the Magic next year. Jazz will match that all day.

I think it's a no-brainer to match. Having Ingles back is a definite plus in retaining Hayward (even more so than Hill IMO).
We saved money by getting Rubio in lieu of overpaying Hill. Jazz can afford to match.

A BIGGGGG LOLLLLLL at the hood extension. See ya later dude. I'll take ingles all day over hood

Yep, Hood is too inconsistent and injured all the time
Hope he takes a discount with us. I don't think he is worth that much.

I could see hood, favors, gobert, rubio, hayward, and JJ all being better than ingles. And even an outside chance of burks, exum, and mitchell being better than him.
Last year could have been his peak, fluke, lighting in a bottle year and even then it was only 24 minutes per game and 7 points per game.
Last season was a career high in minutes, field goal percentage, 3 point percentage (he went from 35 percent to 38 to FORTY FOUR percent) ppg etc in a contract year when hayward, hill, burks, and hood all missed time with injuries.

It would suck to give him big money and then have him revert back closer to his previous years and have hood or burks, or exum step up big time and then us not be able to re-sign them because of ingles contract.

But if hayward needs it to happen in order to stay then **** it, sign the man. Everyone loves him, me included.

Hood did average 13 ppg and shot the highest 3 point % of his career (37%) despite the injuries. He is still pretty young.

Isn't this illegal? I doubt the story.

If true, I think Jazz match.

Hayward and Jingles have the same agent. If I'm DL I'm on the phone with all 3 at 12:01. What will it take to it done right now? Gordo doesn't even have to hop the plane to Miami.

Love Jingles. . . But $15 per is so much at his age. Hood (while frustrating) still has upside and the prettiest shot on the team. I would trade either Hood or Exum for PG13, but I'm hard pressed to trade Hood for Jingles. Have to see what the actual offer is before I know what I want the Jazz to do about it.

Also, I don't know about statistically but it seemed like he played the best defense of his career so far.

He has that ability to get hot and go off too. Didn't he score like 33 points in a half against the lakers? And that game winner against dallas was fire

If that's real Jazz should jump on that. That's easy to swallow and assuming he stays healthy easy to trade later if needed.

I'd probably agree with this take too. I'd look to flip Hood for a star if an opportunity presents itself. I think he's a solid NBA starter. Consistency and upside are my biggest concerns, but I'd compare him (quite favorably) to Khris Middleton. That cost sounds about right.

If Hayward stays the Jazz are over the cap anyway. It's not like they will be able to bring in FA with the extra space that they don't have. I hope they match to retain as much talent as possible.

I'd probably agree with this also. Especially with Rubio on as the starting PG for next year.

15 million is an overpay, but not by enough to not match. I think he's worth 12 per, although I hope there is a TO on the last year.

He very well may not even sign an offer sheet. I almost expect him to just sign with Utah for a discount.

This is exactly my hope. If Hayward and Jingles come back, this has been a great offseason. Maybe better than last year. It all depends on what happens with Hayward.
