Dang.. well, bye-bye Ingles.
Rodney Hood is looking for an extension in the $15M - $18M range according to Locke
Yep, Hood is too inconsistent and injured all the timeA BIGGGGG LOLLLLLL at the hood extension. See ya later dude. I'll take ingles all day over hood
Hope he takes a discount with us. I don't think he is worth that much.
I could see hood, favors, gobert, rubio, hayward, and JJ all being better than ingles. And even an outside chance of burks, exum, and mitchell being better than him.
Last year could have been his peak, fluke, lighting in a bottle year and even then it was only 24 minutes per game and 7 points per game.
Last season was a career high in minutes, field goal percentage, 3 point percentage (he went from 35 percent to 38 to FORTY FOUR percent) ppg etc in a contract year when hayward, hill, burks, and hood all missed time with injuries.
It would suck to give him big money and then have him revert back closer to his previous years and have hood or burks, or exum step up big time and then us not be able to re-sign them because of ingles contract.
But if hayward needs it to happen in order to stay then **** it, sign the man. Everyone loves him, me included.
wtf is orlando doing? have no idea what they are trying to do. they have no direction
Hood did average 13 ppg and shot the highest 3 point % of his career (37%) despite the injuries. He is still pretty young.
If that's real Jazz should jump on that. That's easy to swallow and assuming he stays healthy easy to trade later if needed.Rodney Hood is looking for an extension in the $15M - $18M range according to Locke
Also, I don't know about statistically but it seemed like he played the best defense of his career so far.Hood did average 13 ppg and shot the highest 3 point % of his career (37%) despite the injuries. He is still pretty young.

If Hayward stays the Jazz are over the cap anyway. It's not like they will be able to bring in FA with the extra space that they don't have. I hope they match to retain as much talent as possible.
This is exactly my hope. If Hayward and Jingles come back, this has been a great offseason. Maybe better than last year. It all depends on what happens with Hayward.15 million is an overpay, but not by enough to not match. I think he's worth 12 per, although I hope there is a TO on the last year.
He very well may not even sign an offer sheet. I almost expect him to just sign with Utah for a discount.
