Woj: Joe Ingles is finalizing deal to return to the Utah Jazz

Yeah, but it starts the clock on the repeater penalty.

And if we re-signed anyone in 18, would then almost certainly be a repeat offender.

Favors off books. JJ off books. That's a ton of space spot opened up. Burks is either gone or now an expiring at that point, I forget.

And doesn't the tax penalty happen during the season? So time for Burks to show us something (or nothing).

Yes it is. My point was that some rumors were much more than the 13 he got and most of us guessed only 1-2 per less than he got.

Good deal.

The rumors were 1-2 per more than what he got, while we guessed 1-2 per less than what he got. The way you're framing this is pretty biased lol.

Almost everyone of us was good with a 4-years $60M deal and we signed him for 4-years $52M.

That's $13M a year and a very good contract. Thank you for coming back and coming back so soon Ingles.

Keep in mind this is more than we offered Hayward as a RFA. That low ball offer is our biggest bogey next 2 days. Can Hayward forgive. Details are emerging on Celtics strategy. They are going all x and o’s with Horford speaking to leaving a comfortable situation.

Good stress for Hayward but probably sleepless nights

Our low ball offer ended up being better for him though. He got the max anyway plus player option and I believe some sort of no trade clause.

Jazz have made 4 deals leading up to their meeting, Celtics have made one to trade down in draft and choked on getting George. I think that bodes well heading into meetings.

Still am not sure about the Rubio thing, especially with Hill's market having largely dried up. But I'm feeling optimistic. I think this is pretty big, especially with them sharing agents.

DL's getting all kinds of returns on Woj Twitter lately from having gone through Woj on his "refs aren't calling the off-ball holding" complaint.

I always felt Hayward has the best situation in Utah. So I expected him to return. I was worried when I heard about the Boston PG/Griffin rumors. But now that Boston remained the same, I'm feeling confident they won't be an attractive option for Hayward.

Jazz have done a good job collecting guys who WANT to be in Utah. That only gets better and better and better. I'm going to guess that DL signs a veteran ring chaser to a minimum contract this year that will surprise a lot of people.

Wasn't there rumors up to 20 per? That's 7 per more. Also the 1-2 more I mentioned as guesses is accurate.

Whatever. Glad he's a Jazzman. Now to sign Hayward.

DL is killing it so far. Gets Hayward back and it's a near perfect offseason. Still think he has one more move up his sleeve. We'll see.

My sauces told me that he sat down, looked Doc straight in the eye, called him a ****** and then stood up and left.

The fry sauce knows.

I'm unsure about Rubio as compared to Hill. But I am thrilled with how DL is working this offseason. So far so good.

Now the final exam. Jazz need to sign Hayward. So important.
