NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

Jazz need another star. I've been a vocal skeptic about adding Love, but I do have to admit that it would be bold. As long as they don't sell the future to do it, I'm on board. Not sure they can pull it off though.

Skeptic about signing possibly the best stretch 4 in the league? Heh. Love on the Jazz would be ****ing orgasmic! With both Love and Gobert on the floor, we'll average ALL the rebounds.

It's almost as if DL was in contact with Hayward and knew that he liked Rubio. Wow! Who would've thought?!?!

/for some of you dullards, this is called sarcasm.

gonna be fun as hell to go back and read the rapid-reactions to the Rubio trade. 90% of JFC gonna look like true idiots.

This. Our largest needs are nastiness, shooting and rebounding. Love solidly resolved two of those needs. Allowing Bolomboy to be his primary backup partially solves another.

I felt that a better, more dynamic wing than Hood (Butler or PG13) was a better use of the team's trade assets and I worry about how Love matches up against the Warriors. Nothing with the available wings came about. If the Jazz can get Love, then they should. Just don't sell the farm to do it.

I really thought Thibs would go yolo in Minnesota and play Butler as his PF with Wiggins and someone else on the wing.

Warriors don't get any transition baskets because they can't grab any rebounds. They also don't get any second-chance points.

I'm kidding, but going from 4 rebounds per 36 Diaw to 13 rebounds per 36 Love is a gargantuan jump.

That is very, very true. And again, we'd be getting a guy who is close in age to the rest of our starters. . . Better than counting on Hill and Diaw to provide major playoff minutes.

Good for him. Did exactly what he said he would. Prick. Superteam for two more years. I don't wish an injury on him. . . but I won't cry if he breaks his foot again and Curry's ankles go back to being glass.

What kind of ultra-first-world country do we live in when a rich dude taking 25 million PER YEAR to play a game is considered in any way shape or form a sacrifice??

Wow how ****ed up are we? No wonder our politics and everything else is out of whack. *****************.

What kind of ultra masochistic society do we live in that considers sacrifice a moral good?

Damn you're an *******.
I'm alright with that tbh. Like I said. . . I don't wish an injury on either of them. . . but I won't feel bad if it happens either. Ideally, the Jazz sign Hayward and add Love (or some other high level 4) and go toe-to-toe with them this next year.

Don't conflate sacrifice with cooperation. That's an Abrahamic mind **** right there.

I highly doubt such a basic human value started with so recent an ideology. Durant sacrificed some potential income to help keep the gang together. A communal action. Cooperation doesn't necessitate that anyone gives anything up. Sacrifice does.

Lol

This is a guy that left his team just last season. This is about Kevin Durant.

Log is right imo. The thing is KD should look out for KD. To expect him not to is ridiculous.

Is it really surprising that someone who calles himself the servant and humble has in turn some major narcissistic tendencies? I'd say no
