STAYWARD

Ever since Kevin O'Connor drafted Gordon Hayward I've felt like someone took a dump in my stomach.

Man, I feel better.

I'm happy for you. Always liked you. **** hayward

I know Hayward selling us out is ruining the holiday for some of you. Don't let let it. It's going to be alright, guys and gals.

We didn't lose a Karl Malone. We didn't lose a John Stockton. What we lost is more of a Jeff Hornacek - not a 1st option star, not a second option star - more of a player who's sandwiched between a third-best-player and second-best player.

The Celtics paid him over $31,000,000 a year. That's what a star should get paid. Hayward has averaged 20 PPG ONCE in SEVEN seasons.

Despite the rising cap, I see a lot of teams making stupid deals. Griffin, Millsap, Holiday, and others. They're paying way too much. These teams are going to be cap-crippled and we're going to sign others players for cheaper than they deserve because of cap flexibility.

Seriously - Holiday is set to make $10,000,000 more person season than Rubio. Think about that for a moment. That $10,000,000 difference is the same amount we signed Joe Jesus for.

Believe in DL - it's gonna be alright. We have Rudy - I'd rather lose three Haywards than one Rudy. Just sit back and enjoy the ride - it's gonna be fun. And don't be surprised when Mitchell makes us forget about that guy the Celtics signed.
Fantastic Post

This made me feel a lot better about things. Thanks for the free therapy.

btw i'm so glad we got to witness the Shelvin Mack **** show this year in an attempt to please Backward ... instead of developing younger players for the future.

Mack's post in IG shows he knew what was happening. ****er

I have to say...if the Jazz can't retain a nerdy white-boy video game addict, how are they going to retain the next stud player, assuming they can acquire him ??

Lindsey's priority for the summer was "retention," and the Jazz might have a problem with it.

They did retain him. He extended. His name is Rudy.

On a side note, Rudy had extended and toward the deadline for Hayward extending Rudy started to take a more vocal lead and was having monster offensive games. I had felt at that time that Rudy was showing that this was his team and in a way was responding to Gordon's lack of leadership as a bit of frustration with him not committing.

He didn't go to Miami or Atlanta.

He went to the Celtics. Boston. Boston. Bostan. Replace the B's with a joke.

Hayward's "piece" in the players Tribune reminded me of myspace. Really GH? Lulz

This is Rudy's team now. It sucks that Hayward left, but I want to see what Hood and Mitchell bring to the table. Jazz should start right now to pump up their Most Improved Player and Rookie of the Year campaigns. If Hayward was always going to be heading to Boston, getting Mitchell and Rubio were godsends. Hate to think where we'd be right now without those two moves.

cannot believe he let them do all that stuff knowing he wasn't going to hang around.

I'm glad Rudy made that comment calling out some who were playing for themselves after that loss to the clippers.

oh yeah one more thing. when i went to the clippers game this year, He ditched everyone asking for autograph saying "I gotta go". Rodney hood, burks, joe jesus came and gave me the autograph. always knew haywood was an ahole. that fits boston perfectly. have fun with lebron.

and one MORE thing !! What kind of 27 year old is still obsessed with video games ?? Should've known he was not quite right from that !

Not to kick us while we're down, but man I wonder how badly Lindsey regrets not giving Hayward that 5 year contract when he was a RFA. If he really wanted to play with Stevens that badly, I'm sure we could have gotten Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum from them.

I hope Jayson Tatum/Jaylen Brown become STARS, making Hayward redundant and shipped off for more "assets"

He never was a leader.
He didnt want to be here.
He isnt tough.
He likes Mike Pence.
I get the feeling he and Gobert never bonded or had any relationship.

We'll recover, and be better for it.
