18 bidders, but it gets a little more limited because some won't give up a pick that is likely to convey. They also won't trade him to any of their direct competitors.

It is likely about a half a dozen suitors, but he won't get full value... If I'm hayward and saying he we aren't getting full value... the Jazz offer is close enough how about you allow me to save some face here.

I really wish he would have done this for us before committing to us... would have taken some of the sting out of losing him.

29 teams want to give Danny Ainge the middle finger. He find somebody to deal with, no doubt. But everybody is fed up with Boston.

lmao. Hernangomez is not too good.

They just paid for Millsap. They are going to want to push some chips in, or at least they should.

They friggin love him though. I think they'd do Beasley and a pick maybe... I think they would be reluctant to do a good pick.

The only competitor to them in the East is Cleveland....

I think they offer the same pick Utah does, a protected first. They dont need anymore rookie contracts. They are in the same spot the Jazz were in the year we traded for George Hill, but lucky for them Crowder is on a 3 year deal. It's a no brainer (if Boston chooses them).

Just put yourself in Ainge's shoes. Why in the **** are you giving away Crowder for free when you can get value elsewhere? Unless there is some intense agent power going on, it just doesn't make sense.

all his Thinking Time was absorbed in writing that kewl blog post, doe

I will do a pick swap with him that turns into two seconds. Any more than that and I think DL gets too much **** for helping a guy rape us ya know.

There may be an alternative deal where we could send Favs to Phoenix for Dudley and the Miami pick... then route the pick to Boston. For some reason this seems more acceptable for me.

I just feel like Hayward should get us the friends and family discount here... I will still boo him but I won't burn his jersey... seems fair.

So I should assume the Jazz's protected first round pick is the best offer Boston can get?

Nah. Just pointing to very recent flaws in your logic and common sense. Those two things get in the way plenty of times -- especially when they contain straight-up errors.

I want to write an alternative one where he talks about making 3 all star games and increasing his brand awareness and does not mention the Butler Stevens deal. I think it was 75% eastern conference and 25% stevens... only one of those factors makes for a kewl blog post doe.

You don't, but... we did his agent a solid and didn't roast them and even supported them during the **** show... if there was ever a time to call in the favor its now.

Time to cash in the social capital.

I just had an inaccurate spreadsheet of Celtics contract data that didnt account for the cap-holds on their new rookies.

Danny Ainge is from BYU so he has some face saving to do as well. He is already hated by half of Utah but if he gives us nothing he will be sealing the fate of his sons campaign and also be hated by 90% of the state. There are a number of things that could be done as well. I would send AB, Diaw, and a lottery protected pick for Crowder and either Bradley,Smart or Jaylyn Brown.

I think a favor is like a 2nd round pick, maybe Terry Rozier, or maybe Avery Bradley.

I dont think a favor is here take one of the best contracts in the NBA.

I just don't think we have any idea about the subtle and subterranean leverage that is in play here. Someone mentioned GMs' 'social capital'.... I think that's the right way into the understory here. And that could get compounded if Crowder himself wants out.

EDIT: it was HH. Ftw, per usual
