What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

I saw Lincoln Lawyer. It was good in a Grishamesc. way. I like most of the Grisham movies and also liked this one. Not great but definitely watchable. I wanted to watch limitless or this my wife chose Lincoln Lawyer.

I can see how you interpreted it that way. But I never said that. I said grishamesque.
The highlighted part above is what gave me the impression you thought it was Grisham.

Saw Limitless--entertaining...

Damn how many Saw movies are there?

Wifey surprised the piss out of me and brought home Black Swan (apparently she hadn't heard the same things I'd heard from the peeps here). There are only three words I can use to describe my feelings about that movie: What the ****?

Just watched 127 Hours. Wow it was pretty intense. I think they did a good job of using film techniques and sound and such to show the range of emotion he went through. Then I went on youtube and watched the Tom Brokaw special with Aron Rallston. Made it that much more poignant. Amazing really. I don't think I could have done that.

Your enjoyment of this film will entirely turn on how you feel about Spurlock. I laughed the whole time. Then I got 10% off at a local store with my ticket stub as part of a co-promotion and felt like the whole thing was oddly participatory.

Agreed - quite a let down.

First saw this guy on an episode of "This American Life." The whole thing is pretty surreal.

Lmao. Sorry man.

I've got it coming from Netflix for tomorrow. I have some trusted co-workers who have highly recommended it. Have you seen it or are you just seeking other opinions?

I have not seen it yet. It looks damn good.

I just rented Black Dynamite. Yeah, I know it's been out for a year or two, but I cannot highly recommend this movie any more. A near perfect spoof of blacksploiation movies. From the whole thing being filmed in 16MM to the 70s to the core funky soundtrack to the perfect amount of gratuitous nudity, it was just amazing. I really don't buy DVDs all that much, but I'm going to find a copy of this one sometime.
