What's new

2017 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

I think so. I hate Deron starting and am not thrilled with spy's bench. Chemistry and how **** meshes is big to me and Cy really has great mixing and macthing going on there.

Where are the matchups for tfivas, cy, spy, etc? Gonna be on a different day?

What are some elite NBA players in their prime that got teamed up together and didn't work together?

I can't think of any recent ones.

I am off the opinion that you get the best players possible and great players will make it work. It's more role players that need to fit in. Look at the dream team, they seemed to work together alright.

But maybe I'm wrong and just can't think of any examples to sway my opinion.

Iverson and Carmelo.

Hmm, that is a decent example. Although AI's career was definitely on the downhill. I also wouldn't call Carmelo elite. Maybe a better example is when Carmelo joined Amare in NY. Amare was playing really well and that team was winning until Carmelo came along. Although they never got time to figure things out because Amare for hurt.

Some how Carmelo meshed really well we the Olympic teams he was on.

First year of Bron, Wade, and Bosh. And those were good teammates too.

I'm talking about throwing 3-4 ball dominant guys together, throwing together obvious chemistry issues with no regard towards team building.

I wouldn't say they weren't successful. They made the NBA Finals.

I think the Miami team proves that you can just throw together any star players regardless of fit and they will work it out and be a great team. LeBron and Wade were not an ideal fit. They both were very ball dominate and neither was a great shooter at that point. It did take a little while. The stated rough but will made the finals and then won it all the next year.
