Not taking curry and instead taking gobert looks bad but....... there are a ton of great point guards in the nba so he will still probably get an all star caliber guy at point with his next pick (or even a much much later pick due to the depth of great point guards in the nba) if he wants to. And since some of us will vote on how we project each player to do in the coming season it isn't that bad. I will be voting based on a better gobert than we have ever seen since I think gobert will be better than ever next season. On the other hand I don't think steph will ever have a season again like the one he had a couple years ago. (To be fair, maybe nobody will ever have a season like that one)

Be a scorer pg and rebound, where as Durant could just be free and easy and play his game and let the game come to him also only LBJ was able to even beat the warriors during the playoffs then also add the locker room turmoil that was obviously going on in cle. Also didn't Irving **** the bed in that series?

LeBron supporting cast was the same. He performed worse in the finals this year over last year.

Maybe true but his supporting cast played worse and the opponent was much better than years past. Doesn't mean lebron declined or slowed down. It could mean that, but it isn't a certainty.
It could have just appeared that way in paper due to his teammates stinking it up and his opponents possibly being the best team ever.
Also it wasn't the same supporting cast.
I don't remember d will stinking up the joint for the Cavs in the previous finals.

LeBron main supporting players are Kyrie and Love. Without looking it up I'm pretty sure Kyrie played better this year. I have no clue on love but probably about the same.

Additionally even I'm iso situations Durant outplayed LeBron in the finals. LeBron couldn't guard him and Durant was slowing down LeBron at times.

Definitely played against a pretty good team though imo.
