The Fakers are going down in flames.

Dear God,

Please let the Lakers get swept. If you will grant me this one thing, I promise never again to say swears, touch myself, or stand next to the escalator trying to look up girl's mini-skirts.

Your humble servant,

God knows you can never keep these promises.

The NBA's worse nightmare would be a Mav's/Thunder or Mav's/Grizzles conference finals! Sterns won't let it happen. He's on the phone as we speak....talking to the ref's who will be calling the next game in Dallas!!! Kobe goes to the line 25 times next game...and you will see some of the most unbelievable calls ever made in a professional basketball game!

Is Dick Bavetta going to be officiating game 3?

A Dallas team with Dirk at the helm is still the "same team" IMO as the one that has blown in the postseason. Dirk has yet to show that he can lead and win in the playoffs.

I think this series still goes atleast 6 - and I'm not counting out the Lakers even though Dallas is clearly in the driver's seat. I see 2-3 easy changes that - if the Lakers had done so in LA they'd be looking at-worst a split in the first two games.

The thing about the officiating - sure LA will probably get more than their fair-share of calls on the road like they would in SLC - but they already had the perfect officiating crews (Bob Delaney/Steve Javie - Game 1 and Bennet Salvatore - Game 2) and lost both games on their home floor, including Game 1 which included two borderline (although IMO correct) calls in the final 20 seconds that went Dallas' way.

If I had to pick one, I'd say LA still has a better chance of advancing than Boston.

As long as the Lakers lose I don't care who beats them in the West.

Out of the East the only team I really want to win is the Hawks.

I know this might sound crazy but I think the problem is actually Bynum. They have a lot less movement with Bynum in there, almost like it was for us with Big Al. People stand around and watch him. Notice that Odom gets less time and Barnes hardly any when Bynum plays. This makes the Lakers a lot slower and you saw what Barea did to them as a result.

The same Mavs team? The only 2 players from that season on the team are Dirk & Terry. Different coach too. How does that make them the same team?

A Dallas team with Dirk at the helm is still the "same team" IMO as the one that has blown in the postseason.

Fixed from 2006.

Yeah that makes sense seeing that he was the only one he gave a **** when they lost to Golden State. He's never had real talent around him until this year. 2006 finals were a joke. Wade got so many ******** calls.

If Dirk got traded to the Portland Trailblazers, I'm pretty sure that would make the Trailblazers the same team as the Dallas team that lost to Miami.

A lot of people should read up on Dirk. That's asking a lot from a Jazz fan but the man is dedicated to his job. He's the first one to practice and the last one to leave. Goes straight there and straight home. Reminds me of Stockton. Plays for the love of the game and not the attention. Whether people want to admit it or not, the guy can flat out play basketball and is one of the best to do it.

Dirk will probably retire as one of the top-20 players to ever play the game - quite impressive.

Also, Lakers have had Steve Javie Bob Delaney, Bennet Salvatore work their games and are still down 0-2 so I can't really get on the refs...BUT...what are the odds Danny Crawford makes an appearance in Dallas either tonight or Sunday? Wish we could bet on those types of things.

The Mavs looking to sweep. This playoff season is definitely nothing I expected at all.

Didn't some one here say Dirk chokes under pressure? Sure seems like it against the two time champs.
