Just so we are clear, they're protesting the selling off and removal of Lee's statue. They want to keep the statue on the UVA campus. If it's sold off it could be placed in a museum, probably a more appropriate place. But they want to keep it on the UVA campus to remind minorities of their rightful place.

But of course, we just need to understand them. They're not racist. They're just economically burdened.
