Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Doncic is the best wing prospect since Durant IMO

Bold statements but I am starting to lean in the direction on Doncic.

The kid was signed to play professional basketball at age 13.

He is still only 18 years old and has played on one of the best teams outside of the NBA for 2 years and started the last year.

i am still kind of hoping that ayton, porter, bagley and others explode and push doncic down so the jazz can trade up and draft him

I can see your James Harden comp. He might also be the best shooter in this draft when it's said and done. Incredible quick release.

IDK if I would call it a particularly quick release. Mechanically his 3 is pretty similar to Hayward's where it's kind of between a 1 and 2 motion shot.

Everytime I watch Kevin Knox I think he could be a star. He's just got a nice combination of size, length, explosion, and a bit of shift. Plus he seems to see the floor and passes well enough to be a triple-threat player at the 4. I think he's going to end up out of Utah's range though. See if he doesn't end up 6'10" with a 9'0" standing reach by next year's combine. That would put him close to Anthony Davis coming out of UK. (Anthony Davis measured at 6'10.5" inches in shoes with a 9'0" standing reach.) Right now, Knox lists at 6'9" with an 8'11" standing reach. He just turned 18.

I think Jarred Vanderbilt might be a better fit in the Jazz system. He is drawing comparisons to Lamar Odom with his ability to dribble and pass at 6'8".

I like Vanderbilt too. I just see a bit more upside in Knox, likely finishing at the rim. They're both good prospects.

I can see the Ginobili/Harden comparisons to Doncic. He also kind of reminds me of a 6'8" Deron Williams.

Honestly I think Justin Jackson from Maryland will be our best option when the draft come around. 6'8" with a 7'3' wing span and a 9' standing reach. (measurements based on current measurements apparently he has grown an inch)

He can play the 3 or the 4

He shot 44% from 3 on 3 attempts per game

He is known for his defense with a steal and a block per game average.

He is from Canada so that helps to add to our foreign born team profile.

He just seems like the perfect fit for our team.

I worry about Canadians being too nice and lacking that killer instinct. Only half kidding.

Just posted in the Eurobasket thread but ESPN has two stories on Doncic today. By the way Serbian posters on my intl board are really mad that he does not play for Serbia as his father is Serbian.
