Utah Jazz expressing interest in Andrew Bogut

Just like hot girls from high school, we'll finally get Bogut about 12 years after I wanted him and after his body has completely broken down.

That's why beer was invented: when those girls are no longer hot, but the memory goes there after a few.

I am also curious about this.

Edit: I found this article that explains some people took offense to some of his tweets. Sounds like people made more of it than it was, but I don't know if there was something more than what the article mentioned.

the only people that could take offense to his tweets are clowns who are so blinkered in their own views they're looking to seize on any phrase out of context to bleet about their own cause. He likes to wind some of those people up, things that he think are garbage and not common sense, that is it. There is zero truth and i mean zero in anyone trying to paint him as something other than a guy who just thinks "toughen up princess" when people whine

So Down Under is down with misogynist regional insults. Just like his fav bro Bogut. "Telling it like it is." And what is it? Knuckle-headed bigotry. This is making more and more sense.

Do you dislike Joe Ingles because he is friends with Bogut?

The thing is that we really don't know what or how much Udoh will contribute. If Bogut is healthy, then it's a no-brainer and I would cut / trade either one of or both Bolomboy and O'Neale. I don't know, maybe that's short-sighted. But Bolomboy was extremely disappointing in SL and O'Neale I just don't have any idea about.

We would have had a hard time finding minutes for Bogut given that most of the center spot will be eaten by Gobert. The only time Bogut would be useful for us is if something obviously bad happened to a particular key member (which none of us would want to even imagine happening)

Guilt by association? Nah. They're friendly, they're colleagues, it's a different kind of relationship. My main complaint about Bogut coming to Utah would be that he's simply not a very good player at this stage, and he has terrible luck injury-wise. The being-a-jerk complaint was listed second for a reason.

Was there any reference for the allegation of bigotry?

The thing is we really don't know what or how much Bogut would contribute. "If healthy" also doesn't account for age. Look at Diaw last year. He was healthy, but clearly nowhere near the player he used to be 2-3 years ago. We DO know Udoh is coming off a hell of a year inEurope, while Bogut sucked in Dallas and then got hurt.

By all means, let's follow the Brooklyn model of signing big name guys on the extreme downside of their careers.

I don't recall seeing him play but looked up his stats: He played 26 games, averaged 22 minutes, 8.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1 block. You translate that into 30 + minutes and you have excellent numbers for a center. That's like 12 rebounds in 30 minutes of play, 3 assists, and 1.5 blocks, not bad.

They are definitely friends. And yeah, a lot of people use guilt by association with people they consider bigots. Just curious if it would be a conflict for you since you seem to really like Ingles and really dislike Bogut.
