What's new

McNuggets at the Jazz - Wednesday, October 18th - 7 PM

I just hope we are ready. We looked good in the pre-season, but that doesn't mean too much.
We have a lot of new pieces. Will it all work tonight?

Let's get a W, and start of the season right.

What I'm most excited about tomorrow is to see how many minutes players will get. Yeah, I won't put too much into it, but it might be a good indicator.

Over or under for tomorrow night?
Gobert 20 points.
Mitchell 2 steals
Rubio 10 assists
Ingles 2 threes
Favors 8 rebounds
Millsap a half standing ovation
Jazz 95 points

Cant wait! kinda anxious, little nervous after the events of this morning.

Yeah one of the most eventful opening day in a long time, Mirotic got punched by Portis, Hayward got seriously injured, then a ref had to leave the HOU-GSW game with a (rib?) injury... then GSW lost.

I get the feeling it could be an eventful season...

Things I'm looking for tonight.

-is Gobert the leading scorer? Will he hit his FTS? Looks like hes been working on getting to the line, and getting a lot of points there.
-how does Hood step up in his first game with a bigger roll.
-Will DM shine in his first pro game?
-I think Neto plays, and if he does how does he handle the back up duties?
-Rubio. Will he flash tonight? Will his shot be on?
-Burks. How will his return go?
-new arena seats/upgrades.

I think there are a lot of fun question marks. Lets just hope we win, and look good together.

I got some tix to this one. Pumped for the season opener and the new stadium upgrades. If I were like many dick Celtics fans, I might be so cruel as to bring green painted crutches to the game.

My biggest issue is that the only jersey I own is a millsap jersey. Conflict of interest. Go Jazz! Our first big test with the new look jazz.
They will have jerseys for sale at the stadium my friend...... gobert, donovan, burks. Do it.

You're going to love the new arena btw.

At some point this year, it seems pretty certain that Denver will have a top-5 or even top-3 offense. This will be a great test for our D. I'll be drilled in to the Gobert-Jokic match-up, obvi. But, seriously, the 5-out lineups the Nuggets can put out there are big and skilled. The Jazz are gonna have to get serious points. A couple of dudes gonna have to get hot.

I am so ready for it to be & PM. Lets go Jazz!!!!

So many things to watch...Rubio's adjustment to Snyder, how Hood handles an increased role, Burks return, how much will Gobert's usage on O go up, Mitchell's debut...

Hope Hayward is watching thinking what might have been.

Time to see our team finally place with pace.

Alec Burks has returned to make you all sweet till you all bleed.

Joe Jingles is the new overrated player. Good for him.

Welp, guess you can't let that Hayward bone go...

Why you talking about fishonjazz's man? You trying to get cut?

Joe Ingles isn't over rated lol.

I recall the GSW losing to the Spurs on opening day last year.

We should put up points, could be wrong but I don't think Denver can stop anyone. Lol

I think Gobert cant guard Jokic up and down the court and would rather see Favors on Jokic BUT turn that around....Denver will have a very hard time containing Gobert under the basket tonight and I think Gobert scores 25points plus and 12 plus rebounds tonight for a monster game.

Welcome back Paul Millsap and Trey Lyles.

Back in the day I was so wrong about Paul Millsap and quite clueless about where the NBA game was headed. After the Jazz got beat by the Lakers, I thought Paul was too small to be the starting pf on a playoff team. I wish he was with the Jazz now.
