Rodney Hood Injury

Grade 1 is 7-10 days
Grade 2 is 4-6 weeks
Grade 3 is within 3 months

That looked pretty bad so I bet 6 weeks

What is it with Hood? He is so fragile. I don't think we can depend on him in the future. All he did was slightly trip over Town's foot. How many of us have done the same and only had a mild sprain. I think the guy has health issues.

The real question is what's Hoods weakest body part? Legs in general or his tummy.

Dehydrated from the runs yo.

Exum and Hood just can't stay healthy. I predict DL goes hard after a FA and neither one of them are back. Maybe Exum, but he'd need to sign ~$10m. Hood's just too inconsistent, misses too many games and isn't much of a defender.

I predict you're wildly inaccurate

Here's the problem with this thought ......Exum is getting stronger with elite speed and only turned 22.If you looked at Hood's eyes when he was stroking the twine and scoring 20 pts in 24 minutes AND looking at a season where points might be hard to come by consistently ...do you panic and look for a short term solution? You see a 26 yr old Favors who has had his own issues for the last 1 1/2 season coming on strong,do you watch Exum and Hood if you cut them loose and watch them excel after their bodies heal and play healthy for another team? Tough decision.

no i think you just accept the fact that rod will only give you about 60 games a year, and try to factor that into contract determinations

****ing ********.
The amoint injuries of this team the last few years is insane.
Hood was looking good too.

I have recurring problems with my calfs tensing up suddenly and then relaxing. Dehydration and lack of potassium is the main cause. If Hood had the runs and didn't replenish with enough fluids, it could very well be a strain.
Good post

That's... weird. Rodney might have the lowest pain tolerance on the team. That's the third time I've thought he's died for the season based on his reactions and it turned out to be something relatively minor. He still doesn't play well when he's not 100% so... hopefully they take their time getting him back on the court.

its 100% to due with dehydration. He's going to be fine.

I wonder if it might have been a calf strain in conjunction with a cramp. That would explain why he couldnt walk.

Indeed... that's what crossed my mind. From what I'm reading minor strain doesn't manifest in such bad pain that would require him getting carried off the court... but cramp certainly causes a ton of pain for the time being.
