Have been awful. It seems like our guys were playing like they hit a wall. If the guys here aren't going to play hard call up Griffin and Wolters or whatever you have to do to get them on the active roster. At least they will play hard. What's the deal with Burks riding pine?
 
Rubio looked like he was playing by himself last night. He was moving, but the other guys weren't. The turnovers were brutal and just kept the Jazz from getting into any kind of rhythm.

Where are they meant to move when Rubios out there doing his best Chris Paul impression. Its his job to ger guys going but atm its only his shot he is finding.

If he cant find Rudy more frequently I dont tbink he will see out his contract here.
 
It looks like the players, except maybe Mitchell, are trying too hard to 'play with the pass'. I almost feel like we need to trick these guys into shooting, like put a jazz jersey around the hoop and tell them it's actually another player to pass to.

What? Chris Paul impression is bad? They are supposed to move and cut, that is how are offense works. Rubio finds open guys well. If no one is open and he gets left open he is supposed to shoot.

Alec was SO bad in Los Angeles... turnovers and chaos. At least when Mitchell does it, I can understand it and he can usually back it up with, say, a 16 point quarter or whatever it was. Alec just heaves **** at the rim and then smiles about it. He drives me mad.

He actually had 2 really good games too though and I think he had a really good preseason as well. (Didn't watch much preseason ball tbh so I could be wrong there)

All in all he has been one of our best players statistically (raw box score wise. I don't know about advanced stats)

Ya he was horrible for that stretch in LA. His leash is also the shortest on the team.
 
We had like what, 2 or 3 games last season like the one last night.

The TWOLVES loss at he end of the season, right before we went super saiyan, beat Houston in Houston without Hayward if I recall.

Well, he did it once, so I wouldn't say usually

Mitchell had almost about as much game time in college last year as Burks has had in his last too injury impaired seasons combined. I think it's fair to think Burks needs game time to improve just as much as Mitchell.

It's a read react offense. Rubio is playing his role exactly how he should. The defense is giving him a ton of easy layups and 15 foot looks that he's nailing down.

I agree, but at the same time he should have got some burn yesterday, mostly because if nobody on the bench was going to bother to put up points you might as well try your best option and see if it works.
