What's new

Jazz @ Rockets, 5pm Sunday

Cool, Burks should shoot more 3's and stop dribbling.
That's where he has been trending so that should make you happy. Never seen him shoot more threes before in his career or dribble less tbh.

Royce O'Neal is 0-4 from three and 2-10 from the field in his extremely limited garbage time minutes against backups.

Burks +/- was -34. His PER this season is 11.2, lowest in his all career. yes, even as a rookie he had better PER. His OBPM is -3.6... again worst in his career.
Conclusion - Burks unfortunately sucks even more then we are used to see him sucking.

Yeah, but at the time it was the correct move and a very trade-able contract.

Right now AB looks lost out there. I think he came into the league like a lot of young guys thinking he was indestructible - the injuries have obviously messed with his head.

He's another victim of QS' **** offensive system and DL's no shooting build. His strengths can't be showcased in this offense that allows inside suffocation and nearly zero off-ball screens designed to get open looks.

This offense is ***.

Burka has no strengths other than spot up 3pt shooting.

Hmmm. Maybe he needs to do more of what he used to do. Sounds like he has gotten worse with his less dribbling and more 3 point shooting change to his game.

Suns are 4-3 since firing Watson. They arent that bad.

And Philly ain't that bad (even with Embiid resting). So many justifications for losing games. So no loss is a bad loss unless the team has a) a losing record and b) is on a losing streak and doesn't play well after defeating Utah.

So that leaves, what...around 7-8 teams that Utah should beat? All the others are better and there's no shame in losing to them. I'll quit the board if Utah makes the playoffs with this current roster.
