5.4 rebounds per game in 15 minutes per game. Nasty
Valanciunas looks awful.
I agree. I cant figure out the Noah comparo at all..........looks like the definition of 'milk toast'.

he has a high motor and a long wingspan, will become a solid player in this league, but his *** will get pushed around all the time. his upside, his best case scenario is andris biedrins (10-10 player to go along with 2 blocks a game). so, i'd much rather take kanter. valanciunas might become a solid defender and a very solid role player, but his play won't change games that much. enes kanter on the other side, has very solid chances to become one of the best big men and average 20-10 night in, night out.
It's the motor/energy. He has the body of Biedrins with the nastiness of Noah. And before anyone says he is too skinny. He is 6'11 240 lbs, which is good size for a 19 year old. Has room to add more weight for sure,

I understand the high motor talk but haven't seen it in any of the videos I've watched. Maybe Im watching the wrong ones but nothing about him says "lottery pick"......even in this draft.
I'd take Enes WAY over Valanciunas. I somewhat agree with the KLove comparison -4rbs a game.
I'd take Bis ahead of Valanciunas as well.
i posted this on the other thread, just to show that some might underrate kanter.
-nazr mohamed played against kanter one-on-one, and the teammates said, he dominated him. nazr is quite a solid defensive big.
-patrick patterson played against kanter and said, he would be on the same level as demarcus cousins.
-all his teammates talk that they can't guard him and that is also realy difficult to score against him. this means, he can't be that bad of a defender.
-harellson said that a mix of the three other best bigs in the ncaa produces an enes kanter. he would be agile and quick, he can score from inside-out and that he is strong and though. he said, he never has to play against a player of kanter's caliber in the ncaa and that he would pick him as the first pick most likely.
-if he played this year, he would be the obvious first pick in this draft!
-this guy is still 18 years old and his realistic case is a 19-9 player with an slightly above average defense. but the sky is still the limit. he has the body, the skillset, the work-ethic and the fundamentals along with his iq which realy make it almost impossible for him to not become one of the best big men in the league. players like him don't come along very often. worst case is an 15-8 player and the best case is a 23 - 12 player.

Having seen Demarcus Cousins up close in NBA competition, I'm almost sold on Kanter having a similar potential impact and better mobility. If Kanter can measure 6'11" in shoes, I think it's close to a no-brainer. With Jefferson and Favors, Kanter would give the Jazz one of the best front-court rotations in the league.
Vallanciunas draws comparisons to a young Pau Gasol, but he needs to grow another couple of inches and continue to develop his game. I think I'd consider Montiejunas about level with Valanciunas in terms of potential right now.
