Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

This was posted on November 13th. At the time, Mitchell was not playing at the level he is now and other players weren't playing as well and/or injured at the time. You posted one link after I said the general consensus of the NBA doesn't have Mitchell in its top 5 at that point, but he's climbing. Mitchell clearly is 1 or 2 at this point. Before November 13th, it's not hard to argue he wasn't top 5.

Except the NBA themselves had him top 5 the very day you said he wasn't. Go argue with them about their homerism.

So saying he wasn't top 5 the very day he got moved into the top isn't that absurd, eh? Btw, NBA.com does their ranking based on weekly performance too.

I'm not embarrassed in the slightest to have said on November 13th Mitchell wasn't a top 5 rookie based on his play for the season. Mitchell's first 10 games were night and day different.

Fine, don't be.

Yes, October was very different for him. And? He was top 5 according to the NBA.

I see no use in continuing to hash this out. The NBA disagreed with you and agreed with me.

Lol, ok, dude.

By this logic, you just proved your take on Gobert to be terribly wrong.

What exactly was I wrong about. Please quote. Thx

So much for being able to admit when you are wrong lol. I'd advise you to go back and read how you are wrong on Mitchell being top 5 but it didn't click the first time so I doubt it will now.

This is the perfect example of why you get grief on here. Have a good day Archie. Hopefully you have better takes today.

You keep saying I'm wrong, but aren't even quoting what I've said.

I've said Gobert isn't a top ten player and he's not untouchable. You mad, bro?

Mitchell was top 5 when you said he wasn't. I proved it and you still argue the point. Clearly it is you who are mad. If you feel I have not said what you are wrong about it shows you have either not read what I have posted or have very poor reading comprehension.

I conceded I was wrong on Gobert. He was top 15 last year, I said top 10. I was wrong.

See? It's so easy to admit you were wrong. Perhaps you should try practicing in front of a mirror or something.

The tank has already failed... I honestly can't see us finishing worse than the 10th worst record and that is a stretch... Clips are too hurt, maybe if the Grizz get Conley back. the win streak murdered any tank possibility.

We are drafting somewhere in between 10-16th under most believable scenarios... so I will root for the playoffs but won't be devastated if it doesn't work out.
The closer to ten that we are, the less we have to pay to get Mikal Bridges. Think he’s a great fit for the Jazz. Give me Bridges in the first and then trade up in the late first/early second for a guy that slips. Too bad we don’t have that extra pick from OKC. That would’ve been helpful.

You realize I wrote the date and the context about what I said and you said about Mitchell, right? I can show you other rookie rankings from November 13th that do not have Mitchell in the top 5. Does that make me right? My Mitchell comment wasn't that far off, if not off at all. Your Gobert comment though.

Here's one from Nov. 15th that had Mitchell at 10.

Who's wrong now, guy?

I quoted what you said and we discussed. You. Were. Wrong.

Take it up with the NBA

Finally had to put some guys and their silliness on ignore for awhile. Mitchell and Gobert are the future of this franchise. Jazz need to focus all of their resources into building the best possible team around those two stars. Anybody pushing another agenda is just trolling.

The ignore feature on here is great, except it now looks like Stoked is arguing with himself and slightly insane.

I'm nut arguing with myself but I am insane. My Jazzfanz persona is dramatically more...tame than me irl. I agreed to certain rules and behavior on here and try to abide by it.

Jesus H...I can't. I just can't lmfao.

Mayday mayday!!

I'm sorry, but posting an opinionated rookie ranking the day Mitchell was put in the top five by one opinionated ranking does not prove me wrong. It proves differences of opinions. That said, I guarantee you, the majority of rookie rankings done by sport sites did not have Mitchell in the top 5 on November 13th. You act like what I'm saying is ludicrous and, at best, it's splitting hairs.

Great cop-out though, guy.

Funny. Dude put me on ignore and thinks I don't think Mitchell is our future.

Jazzfanz translation skills 101.

Taking Archie’s comments out of the conversation would make anyone look a little nutty tbh. At first, I thought he was trolling like Franklin, but I finally realized that he and I just have a completely different take on things and I don’t need to keep banging my head against the wall trying to understand it. Mitchell made him look silly and Gobert will do so too when he gets back healthy and DL makes some “roster modifications” (no more Rubio) to better suit what he does best.
