Great win. This one felt comfortable the whole way through, Rodney stepped up big time with us missing our two best players.

Now it's time to get some rest, heal, and get ready for payback against OKC.
 
Hood would be special if not for injuries. He is like a Bogut. Great when you got him.

Millsap is the only other player I could see a look in his eye and know he was about to go unconscious.

Joe Jonson (10 vs. 6.4 = +3.6)
Jonas Jerebko (9 vs. 6.4 = +2.6)
Derrick Favors (14 vs 12 = +2)
Alec Burks (12 vs. 10.3 = +1.7)

All scored above their season averages. Both teams were decimated by injuries, but thankfully Rodney Hood decided to take over for the win.

He just needs to stay healthy. He’s been pretty good when he’s been in there.

I’d love to see Gobert, Favors, Jingles, Hood and Mitchell start a couple of games together and see how well they can function as a unit. Bring Jerebko, Thabo, JJ, Burks, Udoh, Neto and Rubio off the bench. Stagger Gobert and Favors at the 5 for a lot of the game. Never let Gobert, Rubio and Favors play at the same time.
 
I loved how the TNT guys didn't bother to talk about the Jazz at all at halftime, despite them being up 12. I try not to whine about the disrespect this team gets, but sheesh.

On the odd ocassion Fav gets made and gets that fire in his eyes he always plays really well.

Sadly, Hood tends to get hurt easily. He sprained hjs ankle just standing on the perimeter. Seems like he has weak joints.
 
Man Rod has been absolutely awesome scoring the ball this year. Over 18 ppg, top 10 in 3PA and 3PM, shooting 42% from 3. I do think he offers some decent playmaking out of the pick and roll but he's definitely stepping up to the plate with a bigger scoring role.
