Rubio is the reason the Jazz are a bad road team. He isn't a good shooter, he doesn't take care of the ball and his defense isn't anything better then average.
If your point guard isn't a threat to score then it makes it harder for every single player. It's even worse when he can't take care of the ball.
Saying Rubio should have had 15 assists is nice and all but he still can't shoot and it kills the offense.

Yeah, it's hard to blame Rubio when the team shoots 32%, with nearly every shot an open look.

I keep hoping things will get better, but it’s not. Everything seems to stagnate when he’s in the game. I miss Gobert. I want this team to get back to their stifling defensive identity. May not be as exciting as an offensive juggernaut, but it just feels right.

I remember a play where Rubio bricked a shot, jazz got the offensive rebound and the ball went back to Rubio on the 3 point line and jamaal Murray just sagged way off Rubio daring (hoping) him to shoot. Rubio passed it.
Teams hope Rubio shoots wide open jumpers.
