Bomb just dropped

Lol. Yes JFC. the schools are closed in New Jersey.

Rofl. Yep. I think I will be tomorrow too. I live in Ocean Township and we have about 12 inches right now. The Euro model has projected Belmar (which is 10 minutes from me) to get 17.5”.

(crossing fingers)

My 5-year-old called me from the bathroom last night.
"Daddy, what does diarrhea look like?"
I got up and went to the bathroom.
"I looks like brown water and mud, are you ok, son? Let me have a look." (Things you do as a parent.
Kid gets up and we both look down into the bowl where there's and 8" long, neon green poop floating and smelling like no other.
"Dude, what did you eat?!?! You **** is green!"
We both then started laughing for the next 5 minutes.

Off tomorrow too. Suck it, world.

I dropped another bomb recently too...on the Warriors ML tonight.

The meteorologists said what we got today, which resulted in about 14" where I live, and a 99mph wind gust a few miles south of me a "bomb cyclone". Sounds like something I would smoke while watching the blizzard from my bedroom window.

Bombogenesis?!

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...st/1002810001/

"The storm strengthened at an astonishing rate since Wednesday, surpassing the meteorological criteria to be considered a so-called “bomb cyclone," according to the Capital Weather Gang.

Bombogenesis is said to occur when a storm's central barometric pressure drops at least 24 millibars in 24 hours. (A millibar is a way of measuring pressure.) The lower the pressure, the more powerful the storm.

This storm’s pressure dropped 53 millibars in 21 hours, Weather Channel meteorologist Jon Erdman said, which ranks it among the most explosive East Coast storms ever seen."

cold air onshore, gulf stream offshore.... Nor'easters happen. could've been predicted sooner. colder air mass fuels the condensation of humidity, with a loss of 22 L air volume per 18g water....

well, these storms remove stationary weather systems and get things moving again. Like prunes and toilets I guess.

muh climate change!

almost every single settle dclimate change simulations ignore things men cannot influence like the sun

"Global climate models (GCMs) use mathematical equations to describe the behavior of factors of the Earth system that impact climate. These factors include dynamics of the atmosphere, oceans, land surface, living things, and ice, plus energy from the Sun. Sophisticated climate models are increasingly able to include details such as clouds, rainfall, evaporation, and sea ice."

Sounds like my experience after eating a stuffed green pepper. Never again!

About a month ago we went to an all you can eat buffet and among other things I had a salad. I love the combo of beets and blue cheese dressing so I had a lot of both. The next day I dropped a bomb and after seeing my handy work had a come to Jesus moment. Looked like I crapped a gallon of blood. It seriously took me about a minute to realize what was going on. I almost grabbed my wife and told her we needed to go to the ER.

Whatever happened to that thread about the worst dump you ever took? There were some great stories in there that had me in tears. It might have been before the crash.
