Jazz @ Miami Hotline - 1:30 PM - Sunday Sin Edition

I did like that Snyder got Rubio out early and put in Hood. He let Mitchell play with 3 other shooters on the court. Having Mitchell, Hood, Ingles, a stretch big and Favors is our best lineup right now. We need to play this more and let Rubio run the 2nd unit.

yet ingles bricked a wide open 3 and fumbled another pass in the corner. call it both ways...GET OFF IT.
Missing shots and taking ******, GAME LOSING shots you have no business taking are different universes of error.

Saint: im just glad we are dedicated to losing
MT: Cy, how do you mute people?
Zombie: I get bummed for the guys on the team
Zombie: So my heart gets said but my head is glad
DownUnder: bummer .. this is depressing
Zombie: **** my autocreectinf
Zombie: That only autocorrects correct words
Archie: MT, all I'm asking is for the broadcast that clearly showing it going off of Mitchell as you say.
Archie: Oh, I'm pretty sure the broadcast I showed was used by the officials too.
yamers: looks like dm touched it
yamers: either way
yamers: rubio isa tank god
Saint: click the right hand corner of hte chat
Saint: the bulleted list thing
Saint: then click on the person's name in the list
MT: yea, figured it out
UtahJazz32: stupid over turned call - rigged
MT: if we aren't gonna make the playoffs
MT: then a loss like this is fine

For @Saint Cy of JFC who claims Hood is a good iso player.

He is shooting 38.6% in Iso and his PPP is 0.96 which is worse than Rubio on both accounts.
Yeah and that put's Hood in the 68th percentile of isolation players.

It has dropped recently, he was previously in the 88th percentile when I checked last.

That was a bad game from Rubio 0-6. He got a few assists but nothing really helpful in the game.

It was a bad game from Ingles. He made a couple shots but he missed multiple wide open threes.

Everybody else played good or at least decent.

Again, there is no indisputable evidence that it went off of Mitchell, from any angle. If there is, please tell me what time and screenshot it. Should not have been over turned.
@MT

Hate to say it, but Mitchell's arm pretty clearly maintains contact with the ball as it rolls out.

Edit: More specifically, at 2:22 Boler points out that it looks like the ball is on Richardson's wrist as it goes out, which he then raises. The wrist shown on the ball is actually Mitchell's left - this is easy to corroborate combined with the other angles.

Anyone remember 8 years ago the double or triple overtime game (however many it was) where the Jazz lost and the team never looked right again for the rest of the year?

**** Miami.

What time?
I'm not saying it wasn't off of Mitchell. I'm saying there is no clear video showing it going off of Mitchell, especially to overturn the call.
Pause it at 1:27 and tell me who it is off.

I dont want anyone trying to make a play they average 38% shooting on and rarely draw fouls on.
Especially when they're playing with a guy that scored 19 in the second half and is far and away more clutch.

Hood's brain is ***.

Are you talking about the single overtime Millsap Miracle in Miami?

I don't think we should wait and take the chance on his next contract. I think we need to move him before the deadline to a team that doesn't have the cap flexibility to sign a free agent so they really want his rights.

I rarely agree with you but agree 100% that the Jazz need to move Hood before he leaves in free agency.

This is completely unfair. Hood had been very good in the 4th. I hate when people over analyze these situations too much. I wish Hood would have worked for a better shot (which he had been doing a great job going 1-on-1 all game getting to his spot), but the shot wasnt as bad as people make it out to be.
