What's new

#44- Jazz at Kings Jan 17 at 8:00 pm Mtn. Are the Jazz over the Hill?

That is pretty crazy. Its like we got won the lottery last year. It also feels like we won a top 2/3 pick from the 2013 draft.

It would be nice if we could do that next season as well!

We will, in the form of trading our pick for Niko. It’s like the music artist MC 900 ft Jesus. Except the MC is a contraction of Mirotic. MC 6’10” Jesus.

He is probably a top 10 player from the 2011 draft. I would be okay trading a pick for him but only with some real solid restrictions on it. It also depends on how the jazz feel about the draft.

What I think is craziest about Mitchell and his efficient scoring stampede is the fact (or is this fake news?) that he barely touches the ball at the start of games while Rubio runs the offense and gets himself open for jumper after jumper, and Ingles hustles around interchanging ball handling duties. Mitchell somehow still had 3 or 4 buckets in the 1st Q and he wasn't featured at all!!

Maybe it is tactical? Because it never affects his confidence and he is such a beast in the latter parts of games.

Start of games drives me mad just watching Rubio try to run an offense and jack up shots while DM waits patiently in the corner.

This is for tank purposes. Then Mitchell takes over and does all he can to drive the tank off a cliff. Usually they can dig a big enough hole he's not successful, but not tonight!
Imagine a world with no Favors, Burks, Iso Joe or Rubio.

Now imagine a healthy Gobert with Spida running the show and (hopefully) competent starters in the lineup with them.

Soon.

I yelled at him and told him we still loved him... maybe that is why Rubio was so sad. Hill didn’t say it directly or even acknowledge that I was there but something tells me he still loves us too.

GH seemed happy actually. All the guys like him. Everyone loves ZBo. Like a lot. He was cracking everybody up on both teams.
Damn I love you. Two birds with one stone. Trying to sway George back while at the same time making sure Rabio understands he needs to GTFO after he's done being the tank commander

I wish we had enough talent so Mitchell could take more plays off on the offensive end. The kid works so hard at both ends of the floor that he runs out of steam late in the game. Maybe if he didn't have to carry the entire team on his back, he wouldn't get so tired? (Spinning and dancing through the lane for those crazy layups burns a lot of calories.) It would certainly help if someone would assist him on his shots, rather than him having to score most of his points all by his lonesome.

I'd love to see him score 50 points before the season ends, but I don't think he can do it without relaxing on the defensive end. Maybe when we play more of the bottom feeders who are in full tank mode, he will get his chance at 50.

That Tony guy is so full of himself. As are most media "reporters." Acting like he is part of the team or something, not just a reporter reporting on them, hahaha.

Rubio has definitely disappointed.

I thought at the very least he could easily run the offense and make great passes. He looks out of control a lot of the time and doesn’t seem to have any command of the offense.

This season is a wash. But he’s not part of any future plans.
