Hoops Hype used to be very reliable, but I agree, the info is not as accurate as in the past. Likely staffing changes or cuts.
They arent trading Oubre this year dude.I think we should maybe trade for Oubre now. If he improves again next year, several teams will be throwing big bucks at him. There is no guarantee he will pick us.
Washington knows the writing on the wall is they can't afford him, so wouldn't be asking the world for him.
I expect one of DL's moves, if he makes one (and I'm not holding my breath), will be for a cheap, developmental player. Lindsey is a bargain shopper. If I lived in Utah, I wouldn't go to Best Buy trying to meet him, I'd hit the Dollar Store. And for a real splurge, I'll bet he occasionally hits his local Walmart. Heck, he may even go to Costco for the $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.I think we should maybe trade for Oubre now. If he improves again next year, several teams will be throwing big bucks at him. There is no guarantee he will pick us.

AFAIK, the salary cap for 2019-2020 will be $108 million, not $102.
Thanks, but are you using RealGM?
No one knows yet. I was just being very conservative so it could be anywhere between 102-110M. I think the league sent a memo to GMs informing them a projected cap of $103M for 2018-2019. I will look it up
Late 20's for our 2019 1st? rofl wut?
Yeah, maybe a bit optimistic there. I was thinking we could be anywhere between 5-8 in the West, so maybe 16-24. We can't have worse luck with injuries right?
Injuries or not, we still might be 10-15.
We could but hopefully not. The West could be weaker next year: Pelicans are screwed (depending on Cousins recovery), Portland is stuck in mediocrity and Clippers might lose DJ. I can envision us surpassing those teams and even the Nuggets. OKC and Lakers are a mystery due to PG
It's just an ignorant basketball take. Who knows about the attitude thing, though. It's true that he didn't seem to get along with Hill. I think most NBA players like playing with fiery teammates but just hate playing against them. Recruiting really only works if you have a good winning situation. If the JAzz have a top 3-4 team they'll be able to attract better FA pieces who want to be part of a winning program. And yes, I fully expect to be lambasted for that.
Also, I feel like Rudy isn't special and is vastly overrated here and hasn't shown any ability to recruit. In fact, I can't help but wonder if his attitude rubbed Hayward and Hill the wrong way. We know he already had an issue with Hill...
