In other years I agree, but this year we will make a trade. This one wasn't it... actually glad we didn't give up the pick. There will be other deals... Honestly at this point though don't do something that helps us short term... just slide down the standings if you can.

I'm sorry but this makes no sense. DL did the right thing. We should NOT be trading our first round pick and it seems like this is what it would have taken. Good on DL for not doing something stupid.

In this scenario, maybe. I agree completely with not giving up the 1st round pick. I think there were other ways to get Mirotic and get Chicago their first round pick using 3 team trades. But anyhow, it's more just a general comments. Jazz have a track record of this.
