It names names, and asserts that the dossier compiled by Brit agent Steele, which was once sought and paid for by RINO opponents of Trump, and then bought out by the Hillary campaign, and paid for again.... Opposition Research.... was the basis of the FISC application to obtain authorization to surveil Carter Paige, and that the DOJ and FBI personnel who made the applications did not reveal to the FISA judge the source or nature of the information.

It is generally known that the FISA application was turned down the first time, and resubmitted to obtain the order on the second application.

I think the Judge must be remiss in his duty to insist on this information, and the applicants remiss in their duty to conceal what they knew was relevant.

This makes Nixon and his third-rate thugs look like schoolboys. These perps were officials of the US gov doing crime to interfere in the election to stop Trump any way they could.

Our government cannot be trusted with the power to override the US citizen's rights of privacy.

So when a cop pulls over a black man in his 20s and without any real reason asks to search the car, then finds drugs, then charges this person with intent to distribute even though they have no proof that the person has been distributing, that person should not be charged because he could argue that the officer had a bias against him?

If/when Mueller produces EVIDENCE of obstruction of justice it doesn't matter one tiny little bit if there was or was not a bias against Trump. Not one tiny little bit.

Evidence is evidence. Obstruction of justice is a crime, regardless of any bias the law enforcement agency might have against the perpetrator.

Probably long since past the point of wasting my time saving articles in dozens of Trump folders by category, or even emailing stories to friends. Might be better off just waiting for the end to this national nightmare and then putting its history together. Trump is going for the kill with this maneuver. It can't and won't work and it will be the only issue worth going to the polls for in 2018.

Will the Republican Party put Trump above the Constitution, above both because of his lawlessness, and their unwillingness to defend the Constitution? It seems they will, and are. Wray should make Trump fire him by continuing to tell the truth. But he won't be able to release classified info to bolster his and the FBI's case in the face of Trump/Nunes fake narrative.

Trump would foist his ultimate alternative reality upon America in a bid to end the Russia investigation.

This whole gambit, and Alt reality concoction, is itself obstruction of justice I would think. Basically, the House GOP at least, has opted to back a likely criminal in the person of Trump. Republican Party needs to be held responsible for supporting this attack on the rule of law, should Trump use the memo as an excuse to get rid of Rosenstein and Mueller. The President does not have the right to falsify a narrative for the purpose of putting himself above the law.

So continue the investigation into the Presidency but also make sure no abuses of power and/or crimes were committed under FISA as alleged in this memo. If there were/are go after those people as well.

If you've paid any real attention to the investigation, the "memo" is plainly an alternate history from another timeline.

The memo is of course a whole lot of nothing but the level to which the republican congress, the donor base, and indeed the GOP base seems united with trump in the intent to stop this investigation is concerning. The republican party knows that conservative media has worked their base up into such a delusional frenzy, and knows that the donor base actually love trump and all they care about is instituting draconian policies and looting the country to pay themselves off, there probably isn't any red line of what they won't do to protect trump. If this republican party had been in power would they have protected Nixon somehow?

It seems the absolute goal is to stop Mueller before the midterms. The memo is an extremely desperate, obvious part of it. Will the democrats find any sort of competence to stop them?

How do you figure that? Bulletproof has always been very clear that he believes that if you commit the crime you should get the punishment regardless of anything else.

Fair enough, he's not exactly a polished politician like others, but I will gladly take that trade off given what he's actually doing for the economy. He's not nearly the bad guy the media tries to make him out to be.
