What's new

Utah Jazz @ San Antonio Spurs -- Feb 3, 7pm MST

No one is seeing one game from Hood and having it change their opinion. He has 3+ years of work to his name. He played fine. It was his first game back and he didnt force too much. He had a nice drive to the rim and a corner 3. He did his part and helped the Jazz win in his minutes.

No, he didnt play fine but I agree, no one is looking at one game. They are looking at 2 seasons in a row of not being healthy enough to matter for a team and being very inconsistent. His confidence looked very low.

Plus, most his injuries arent big ones. Just little nagging things that keep him out too long. I am fine holding on to him if we dont get something of value but his value is at its lowest right now.

He played fine. It was his first game back. I'm sure teams are a little concerned over his injuries, but it's not like he has ever had any major surgery. I dont think his value is at a low. Teams are way less reactive than fans.

No, just throw better passes. Joe Ingles has thrown plenty of successful bounce passes to Gobert. You just have to make sure they bounce.

Actually, Joe Ingles should get away from throwing bounce passes to ANYONE in traffic. He seems to throw it right at people's feet for some reason. But with Gobert, he doesn't have the hands to catch passes that hit him below the waste when there are other hands in there with him. Hide and watch. Quin will working with these guys to get the ball in the air to Rudy. He'd probably be better off taking passes off the backboard.

Also, LMAO at throwing better passes IN TRAFFIC. You have to thread the needle to make them work in the first place. As if it's easy to just throw better passes in traffic.

"Well derp, they just need to thread the needle better, derp."

Uhh, no. Ingles is one of the best pocket passes on the team. Gobert can catch bounce passes, they just have to be good ones and the spacing has to be right.

Lobs sound nice, but they are hard to throw for most players and they are dangerous (see Hayward). You dont want to be throwing lobs all the time.

Closing out the 4th was so impressive.

This. Royce was fantastic. So was Rubio. Jingles hit a big three too. Rudy with some clutch free throws. Very impressive.

Ya Rubio threw a bounce pass to favs for a dunk and it got up over his head before hitting his hands. That’s how you have to do bounce passes to Rudy. Easier said than done though.
