John Mahoney (Frasier's Dad) has died....

Frasier is my favourite sitcom growing up.... I prefer it to Seinfeld actually, and Mahoney was a big part of it.

Very sad day for me... gone too soon...

Ah thats no good, great actor, him signing on to play Martin Crane was a big part of the reason the show went ahead, apparently they thought he would be a stable influence on Kelsey Grammer who at the that stage was in and out of rehab for his Coke problem i believe. (ITS A HELL OF A DRUG!!)

Great actor. Wasn't he like late 40's when it started? I think he was only a little older than Kelsey Grammer.
