AK for Bosh

it would make so much sense for him to work with the best pg in the league but we still need another piece for contention and i think he prolly realizes that.

True. We might be able to sign another piece though after getting out from under AK's contract and letting Boozer walk(not that I dislike Boozer or anything). We could be financially ok to sign another piece. Of course, this is all hypothetical and far fetched dreaming, but hey, nothing else going on in the Jazz world these days.

I could possibly see Bosh wanting to play with Williams.

Reality is that it won't happen.

AK by himself is little enticement for Toronto. Not signing Bosh leaves them 20-25 million under the cap. AK for one year at 17 million just isn't likely. The Jazz would likely have to take on someone like Calderon and give up Millsap and future considerations for it, making the prospect less attractive in the long run for the Jazz.

Plus, as mentioned, Bosh would have to agree with it. The Jazz couldn't afford him as much as he's going to get on the open market anyway.

You'd have a better chance if it was a sign and trade with Boozer for Bosh. Offering up AK before the deadline will just get the Jazz laughed at.

...I'm not a big Bosh fan....but at least he's cut his hair, taken a bath and no longer looks like something the cat dragged in!

Not saying you're wrong or anything. In all likelihood you're right, I'd just like to know why? Why wouldn't Toronto attempt to get some value in return for Bosh rather than let him go for nothing?

Read the rest of my post. Bosh wants to become a FA. He's aiming for NY, Miami, or Chicago. There's no way he's going to agree to a S&T to be shipped to the middle of a desert.

Why were at it lets trade CJ for Lebron

While we're at it? Seriously, why do people have to dogpile people asking simple questions with a little optimism? Why does everyone have to be a realist? That's utterly boring and so not the point of this message board.

Besides, I think it's quite possible. For example, I remember reading Wade complimenting Sloan for getting the most out of his players and his teams. If Wade likes the Jazz then why wouldn't anyone else? Winning tends to enchant people more than losing. Plus, it doesn't hurt to at least ask and prepare a proposal to all these guys. If nothing else, it tells everyone that we're serious about getting better.

Bosh and Deron hate each other...well, used to, anyways. They were bitter rivals in high school. But, actually, I thinks they got over dat after bein olympic teammates. When Deron tells him bout alla wimminz who throw theyself atcha in SLC, Bosh will be THERE, I betcha!

Why does everyone have to be a realist?

The kinda guys you're talkin bout aint realists, they're pessimists. They like to call themselves "realists," because they think it makes them sound smart, but they aint foolin nobuddy.

"A pessimist is a man who thinks everybody is as nasty as himself." (G. B. Shaw)

'Cause he's done so well being the go-to guy in a smaller market.

Bosh is such an unbelievable hack.

I too wonder how he is such a valuable commodity if Toronto is not that good? Its possible he could be the next pau gasol - an ideal second bananna behind a superstar. I got lucky and watched a Raptors game in Toronto and he was not very impressive (one game though...)
