Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies -- Feb 7 @ 6pm MST

Teams are just defending DM really tight, basically not letting him touch the bball.

I wouldn’t call DM a chucker but he does he a decent volume of shots to be a contributor.

Next 30 games will be a good learning curve for him, teams are going to play him tough leading up to playoffs.

If exum performed as bad as mitchell in the last 2 games,.he would have been lambasted by some hypocritical jazz fans and get a few DNP~CDs from snyder.

Agree.

Ive never viewed DM as a "chucker". All his shots come in the flow of the offense. I think some confuse having a quick trigger as "chucking". If someone goes under a screen he is shooting but that is what Quinn wants (from everyone).

Well Exum never sniffed anything close to a 40 point game either. Another words, DM has a lot of good will built up.

Neto had 2 bad turnovers...... other than that he was flawless. Loved his game tonight on both ends.
Rubio continues to kill it.

Decent win but I was a little disappointed by the team tonight. I think the refs gave us a lot of help and he Memphis roster is garbage.

Still, a win is a win and a road win always has some added value to it.
Memphis got away with a **** ton of contact. If your going to make the game ugly like that you should be prepared to have some calls not go your way. They were holding and bumping everything.

Dante never scores alot because he is not a stats padding chucker. Dante is unselfish and plays for the team. If dante wants, he could have taken 20 shots a game like Mitchell or Burke
good will built up or double standards? It is up to you to decide.

And only a complete moran would think that Exum ever did anything close to what Mitchell is doing. I'm a fan of Exum and think he's got a future here. But I see no double standard. One guy is passive and is almost begged to shoot by the coaches and still doesn't. The other guys is aggressive and still makes the correct play most of the time.

I actually would consider Mitchell a chucker but it's kind of what this team needs. I'd also consider Harden, Lillard, Steph and many other super stars chuckers. I'm not saying Donovan will ever be that level, just pointing out being a chucker isn't always a bad thing.

I consider a chucker as someone who is happy to shoot in a triple team. Those guys dont do that, they are all efficient and play winning basketball.

why would mitchell wants to leave when is allowed to have a few bad games in a row and make mistakes on the court , leeway which has never been given to Exum.
If Exum had ever had a few great games you'd have a complaint. But He's had maybe 2 great games of his entire career. So he hasn't earned as much leeway, also Mitchell is playing after being sick and is the focal point of opponent defenses. Something Exum has never had to deal with.

After a quick google search you are right. I've always considered it as someone not afraid to shoot at any given time, guarded or not. Kind of right, kind of wrong.

To defend Dante, I think he has played through a lot of nagging injuries.

Again I dont see the point in putting down Dante just to pump up Mitchell.
