Donovan Mitchell Highlight Videos, Spectacular Plays

DM is better all around? IDTS. That is Simmons' best attribute. DM is the better closer.

I think he meant all around guy like not a douche..... likeable...... off the court.

Simmons isn’t a bad guy, but he is arrogant, whereas Donovan is not at all. He’s complained about being an All Star snub, said he knows he’s the best rookie in the NBA, etc. Simmons is an alright guy, Donovan is perfect as someone said before, and it’s hard to beat that.

It’s fun to pimp him on realgm or Twitter and watch the Simmons Stan’s lose their mind that someone else got some love.

If any Jazz fans are concerned about Donovan/Jazz getting attention, he got quite a bit today and the Jazz got some love as well.

They talk about Donovan on The Starters:

Also on the Jump:

Not to mention Sportscenter started off with the Jazz win streak last night. I’ve also seen Donovan on twitter and Instagram pages all over. Any Jazz fans feeling they aren’t getting love should probably relax. Yes we’ve won 10 straight, but we’re still the 10th seed out of the playoffs. Donovan is getting some attention and IF WE CAN squeeze a few more wins onto this streak the attention will get better.

Its funny how everyone thinks they know Donovans character inside and out. The dude is smooth af, incredibly savvy and media trained. Y'all setting yourselves up to get your hearts broke.

Could be true, but I’ve yet to see anything from him to think he is insincere going clear back to high school and freshman college interviews. I’ve wondered if he’s got a poker face as far as the way he presents himself, but he’s one hell of an actor if it’s insincere, I’ve yet to see anything the kids done to suggest so. I actually looked up interviews from high school and early college days because I kind of have the same thought as you, that it may be partly just put on, but he always seemed the same. When he was 16,17,18, if he had that much of a poker face and was that good at PR or really thinking about it back then he’ll be a billionaire some day.... if he’s simply a PR master and not truly sincere we will find out someday...but he’ll be fun to watch until then.

I'm not saying Ben Simmons doesn't deserve Roy--these are two transcendent talents who would run away with it if they weren't up against each other. But when people say Mitchell only scores more because he shoots more, that just seems so inaccurate and uninformed. Simmons cannot do what Mitchell does. He does not take over games in the fourth like Mitchell. He puts up incredible numbers--but this is also a guard who refuses to shoot the three. it's not even that he doesn't hit threes--he doesn't even take them. Lonzo gets the heat for being a bad shooter but at least he will take them on occasion.

When Ben Simmons hits one three pointer he can have his award. This is how I have began to deal with obnoxious Philly fans as well. Just say that all Simmons has to do is hit 1 three pointer. It triggers them hard and is very funny.

Being good with the media and with fans and being well spoken is just a sign of social intelligence imo, and that is one of the traits that makes Mitchell great. His teammates ****ing love him. He has united this team. It is rare to get a real leader and a great player all in one, but that is Mitchell. That is going to be huge for him and for this franchise. I don't know where the insincerity thing comes from. He is well-spoken and socially intelligent, we should see that as another of his strengths as someone who we hope will lead the franchise for years to come.

Are we really talking about how our rookie under team control for like 7 years is going to leave? Jesus ducking Christ.

No we're not.

The conversation drifted to comparing DM and Simmons on/off court personality and character.

Like any of us actually have any idea...
