'Lopo Trade Machine deactivated'

Oh, on the contrary, the Trade Machine is up and running. We dump Burks' expiring during the draft using our 2nd and future 2nd's then renounce Jerekbo, Udoh and Neto. We then sign Jabari Parker or Aaron Gordon to an offer sheet...

Look at Jack Strop's eye patch, Cy's sunglasses inside, Firegirl with the shiny jacket, Fish on the far right leaning his head back, Mellow laughing hysterically in his mustache in the back and Latin with a forced laugh behind Firegirl.

Not shown is NAOS crying in the corner....

Nigel Williams-Goss might be our 3rd string PG next year if Neto leaves. Heard there is talk he is going to be getting looks from Euroleague teams next year tho.

Also, I feel like Rudy isn't special and is vastly overrated here and hasn't shown any ability to recruit. In fact, I can't help but wonder if his attitude rubbed Hayward and Hill the wrong way. We know he already had an issue with Hill...
This is your worst take. I think anybody who plays against Rudy wish they had Rudy.

And hes unselfish, will take zero shots away from you and loves doing the dirty work.

I have a hunch that Lindsey is putting together a plan to go get Kawhi. DL has a track record for going after guys he knows. He doesn't always get them the first go-around (i.e. Hill, Crowder), but he definitely knows who he wants and he's persistent. I can't think of a better fit for our team. In 2019 (when Kawhi can opt out), Donovan will be in his 3rd yr, and Gobert will be approaching his prime. Kawhi checks off every box for Lindsey (long, athletic, tough, no drama, etc). Spurs are on the descent while we're on our way up. Makes sense why Lindsey refuses to make deals that would restrict our cap flexibility. Imagine adding the best perimeter defender in the game to the team that already has the best interior defender. Add on top of that a top 5 coach, an up-and-coming-star and solid role players who can both shoot and play defense... We'd be contenders for a good 3-4 years.

Nope. Our only move would be for Mirotic (trade). FA possibilities include Trevor Booker, Trevor Ariza, Channing Frye, Speights, Mbah a Moute.

He was so outmatched in summer league. Couldn't get a clean shot off against that level of competition. I wouldn't mind him back in camp again to see if he figured things out after a year. Apparently he is playing pretty well in Europe. I would much rather take a chance on a developmental 3rd PG with more physical upside unless he impresses.

No offense, but this entire post makes me want to vomit a little. I would rather keep Thabo, Jerekbo, Favors and Crowder than add any of those guys save maybe Booker (on a bargain deal) or Mirotic (if NOLA sent him to us for next to nothing).

We either need a top level 4 or stay with what we got.

I mean, the level of competition is way higher in Europe than it is in SL. He might just not be good in a pickup style of play where there isnt team cohesion and more defined roles.

He looked really physically outmatched. The ABA isn't one of the top Euro leagues but I guess they all play in Euro Ball (although I don't think his team is qualified this year). Like I said he did not look like an NBA level athlete or player in summer league, but things can change. I wouldn't be very excited about the NWG we saw last summer. I'd still prefer to pick up a developmental PG if we need a 3rd one next year. Let them compete in camp and see if NWG looks better.

The ABA isnt, but the Eurocup is. He played in both.

Example: Frans Fraschilla ranked Eurocup the 2nd best and the ABA the 11th best.

He averaged 17 and 6 in 9 Eurocup games, that's really impressive and why he is one of the top targets for Euroleague teams next year.

And again, Royce O'Neale was just as bad as NWG in his first SL experience. I really dont think SL means much of anything. It's pickup basketball.

Ah good info, thanks. Like I said those numbers seem promising but I can't remember a draft pick that looked as outmatched as he did which is why I'm thoroughly meh on his prospects. Maybe the jump in competition was too much or he needed more time to get used to professional basketball. I have no idea. I'm all for bringing him in again for summer league and camp. Players can definitely improve or have a terrible showing for any number of reasons. I just wouldn't let that affect plans to bring in a player with a higher ceiling to compete.

If we renounce anyone we can renounce and opt out of anyone we can opt out of, how much cap space do we have this summer?
