I thought Nance was pretty unexciting to watch tbh.

DSJ had the best non-Mitchell dunk, but it took him 3 attempts.

Hopefully next year Donovan gets a real challenge.

It's not really a double tap, he threw it, then just tapped it once. To call it a 'double tap' is actually pretty misleading.

I'm comparing two dunk contest winners and saying that winning it really shouldn't mean anything in a ROTY race.

There have been great players and not so great players who have won the dunk contest. However it wasn't winning the contest that made them great. So don't get your knickers in a knot.

DM won easily... that being said this isn't one of those dunk contests that people will be talking about all week. It'll probably be another 15 years before we see another mind bending and competitive dunk contest(unless lavine and Gordon go at it again next year)

Mitchell's dunks rely on his arms being super long so it looks cool when he does tomahawks. It's really cool, but it's not impressive from a technical standpoint.
