We've all sensed it for a little while. After a lackluster start to the season and coming off of basically back-to-back injuries(neither really his fault), Rudy showed signs of getting back to his salute. He looked for contact again. He ran with purpose and confidence. His chin was a little higher and his demeanor even more serious. His swagger was in check but you could sense that it was about to return. He just needed that breakout game. Then last night happened. The anchor rode was let out and once again the anchor did his thing. Our motors held us in place but now that the anchor is here to steady the ship...

Ok, enough of this cheese, Rudy is ****ing back! This could get really good.

It's great for us! True, I felt him not very confident at the beginning of the season maybe because of the transition, Hayward's moves, new teammates, his new statue / role in the team...

But I think at the end, his injuries could be a good thing because it let him time to stop his negative mindset about the transition and make him hungrier than ever

I'm glad to see Rudy like that!! Offensively I tell you guys he will improve... believe in him. He really can be a beast on the two sides. It's just about confidence. He improve his FT and it will increase more with confidence. Next step is his jumpshot maybe for the next years to come. We can notice that he is less hesitating to take a jumpshot now. It's will take times before Rudy is a complete in offense but I'm sure he will be a beast when he will be 27 to 38 years old. Good for us in long term!!

Last night vs. the Kings... five offensive rebounds, three blocks, three steals, two assists, 16 points, 12 REB. Only two fouls and one turnover in 36 minutes. Damn. He might be playing his best basketball ever come playoffs. Look out.

For most of last night Rudy looked like a man surrounded by boys in the paint.

I respect Kosta Koufos - he's turned zero talent into a 10 year NBA career. But it wasn't even fair at times.

People need to stop ragging on Koufos. He's always been an NBA talent, even if not a star one.

Never doubt The Stifle Tower.
Everyone should know that by now.

Member that thread titled ruby gobert has got to go. Someone should bump that. Would be some funny stuff in there no doubt.

At one point I saw Kosta and Fesenko as our 4/5 tandem.
I was never quite sold on Fesenko. But Koufos looked really good his rookie year. The Jazz bungled his development path pretty hard (they suddenly put him in mothballs in favor of Jaron Collins, shattering his confidence and progress, then gave up on him).

One of the dumbest points in the history of Jazz fandom.

Plus there were others in that thread defending the OP position on the matter.

This isn’t fair. Koufos has a good nba body, and decent athleticism and smarts.

I was high on Fesenko with his abilities. Him as a total package never worked out, which is 100% on him. I always thought he could be a Sabonis-type impact player (as in very talented and valuable but not an all star — not comparing their games at all).

But Collins, my goodness. Overall nice guy and managed to carve out 8 years and nearly 8,000 minutes for us, but holy hell. We protected him in the expansion draft (he wouldn’t have been taken) while exposing our first rounder from the previous year, and KOC went into an off-season saying “Re-signing Jarron Collins is our top priority this off-season,” as if 1) someone else was going to snatch him up and 2) that it would even matter if they did.
