Was looking around couldn't find a tax thread so I've decided to start one.

It's three in the morning and I can't sleep been lying in bed thinking about work.

My question is, if I pay an accredited Witch Doctor to put a curse on my boss, will it be tax deductible? If so fully? i will naturally keep the receipts, I figure its a professional expense.

In for answer. :)

What are you on again?

Mostly caffeine and nicotine (less nicotine than usual cause i'm trying to quit) I'm surprisingly superstitious for an atheist. Got the idea from work, was accusing one of the new guys who is a bit of a hippy warlock type, into the magic of crystals and all sorts of alternative nonsense, no idea how he ended up working with us, he's not a bad bloke if you can get past all that alternative lifestyle crap which is really just an excuse to score with confused young girls looking for some meaning in life.

Anyway while I was questioning his parentage, sexual orientation and lack of personal hygiene last week I also accused him of putting a hex on the microwave, cause every time one of us put something in it, we'd be called away to deal with some arsehole. This was obviously his fault. Anyway the idea stuck in my head and my boss has been pissing me off, so I figured why not pay a witch to put a hex on him?

Religious donations are tax deductible aren't they?

Aren't you in Australia?

Yeah we have a tax system and a body of law here too. Actually having a hell of a hard time finding a witch doctor, in a city of 5 million people you'd think you'd find someone. Could be a startup business opportunity.

The hookers and blow for the after party are deductible, as long as a potential client is there.

Dude paying for coke is for punters, just shake down dealers, its cheaper. Hookers, well, i like to wrangle my own loose women. Sounds like solid financial advice for the music industry tho.
