What's new

Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I mean, he should probably get around that number, as a backup. He is their 2nd best center and JJ is often in foul trouble.
It was a bit of an exaggeration, but you get what I mean. Any minute those two can be on the floor they should be on the floor and preferably Bridges as 4 and Jackson as a 5.

This doesn't change my criticism of Bridges playing hero ball and jacking up threes which I've noticed he likes to do quite a bit. He still would've done that with JJJ in the game.

Late in that game Izzo decided it was time to live or die by Josh Langford's 3pt shot... and they died..

Xavier Tillman was the one who sucked up the minutes not Ward

Hard to jack 3s tho if your coach puts you in the middle of the zone.

I don't know if they would take him with Bradley fixing to get minutes next year. Around 20 need becomes more of a factor over BPA.

They aren't redundant. Bradley is more of a 5. Robinson has the athleticism to guard 4's quite easily. He's like Willie Cauley Stein, who's turned out damn good.

Chandler Hutchison in his last college game scored 39 points against U of Washington in an NIT game. This is the guy that dropped 34 on the Utes last year in an NIT Game and outplayed Kyle Kuzma.

This wasn't an anomaly. He did this crap all the time. I really don't like how his game will translate in the pros. He'll still be at least a solid role player but I don't think he'll ever be an above average starter.

Yeah, because he played out of position next to two big men.

He also scored 14 points against Utah State in his confernce tournament game, in a loss.

Josh Okogie is very similar to Hutchinson, but young/better/longer/more athletic.

I'm looking for a bit more upside than Hutchison, though I think he looks like a solid enough rotation player. I'm waiting for Issac Bonga to surface soon at close to 6'10" and a 7'2" wingspan with an improved body and jump shot.

I'm so-so on Troy Brown these days, but he's a guy that could be on the board in our range if he comes out. Kris Wilkes might come out. He has some potential.

Here's a refresher on Troy Brown...

Jazz need to swing away on upside. Snyder and Co., are the best developmental staff in the league. Find a gem, and then polish it hard. Hopefully find another draft star that way.
