Remember the Alamo Dome - Jazz @ Spurs 3/23/2018 6:30 pm MST

The Jazz posted an offensive rating that is 3 points higher than Houston's average rating against the 2nd best rated defense in the NBA.....
And could you have imagined what the game would have ended like if Ingles shot 5 more 3 pointers at 45% than Donovan's 4-13 for a total of 26% in the last 14 games?

No one can deny that Donovan is chucking. He wasn't putting on a performance like Kemba did in 26(?) minutes for 45 points to justify the 35 shot attempts(all be it, the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter).

This is laughable....did you not see how it went when Ingles tried to get a 3 off? When guarded tight the dude can’t get his shot off. Hard defenses on Ingles bother him. Donovan is the one who can at least make sure he gets a shot.

That's not how basketball works tho. The Spurs are a top 3 defense. Sometimes you can't just execute against them (especially on a road b2b) because their defensive execution is going to outplay your offensive execution. We see the flip-side against Utah all the time. Utah's defense doesnt typically get beat by great team basketball, it gets beat by great players playing great games.

You're only accounting for ISO 3 pointers (which I never said). Ingles CAN create and shoot a 3.

He has a hell of a lot of trouble getting 3s off when guarded tightly, and he was late tonight. He’s more of a catch and shoot guy.

Your best option is the difference between winning and losing on every team. It has to be on him, and he should be taking shots.

How many shots? That's the question. How many shots before you think you should maybe pass the ball to give someone else a chance?

He comes off screens for 3's and drives to the lane all the time for baskets. He does catch and shoot but he CAN do so much more.

However many he, his teammates, and coaches feel like he needs to take not what some guy on a forum thinks. Donovan said in his postgame he was down on shooting but his coaches and teammates told him to keep shooting. He’s the best option, and they want him shooting, and he should be.

As a side note....Steph Curry got hurt again tonight. Jazz must win Sunday. If we lose it may be monumental in the playoff period.

There's no set number, but as a player, you should know who's hot and it's not always you.

Still, can't deny Donovan can be incredibly clutch when we need him to be.
