that missed and 1 hack on rudy was insane.

Pretty bad. Pretty obvious and hard foul. And as handlogtens heroes said, it was an intentional foul by aldridge. He was fouling rudy to try to get him to the line for two foul shots rather than give up the easy dunk.
 
Which had he made a 3pt play out of it could have helped the Jazz win the game and change playoff standings substantially.

Pretty bad 4pt swing in the Atlanta loss after a no-call as well.
 
It was bad, but not sure the call ended up mattering. I think it would have tied the game, but we ended up forcing OT anywhere. Had DM missed that shot then it is pretty tragic.

Actually it may have lost the Jazz the game in regulation if they call it. Rudy hit's the FT and the game is tied, giving the Spurs the ability to hold the ball for the last shot in the game w/ 10 seconds to get a good shot.

No way of knowing what would happen though. Maybe the Jazz get lucky and force a TO or something.
 
Agree there is no way to know what would have happened. However, it left the spurs up 1 instead of tied. That does not change the Spurs stragegy on the last shot... of your up you would still want the last shot.
 
The fact Rudy gets pushed or held on every rebound is more concerning to me. Not only does it put him out of position there is a risk of injury every time.
 
Refs miss stuff all the time. See Dick Bavetta. Rudy still would have to make the free throw and the Jazz get a stop to get to OT.
